So that just leaves the possibility that google.com is being blocked by a firewall or some other security notion. And I was kidding about the virus thing..viruses aren't known for killing connections..

Hmmm, both of my parents have degrees in computer engineering or something like that. It's kinda sweet, since I'm not all that knowledgeable about the intricacies of computers (although I do get around).

Yeah, my dad is a computer engineer too and fixes my junky computer all the time.

Oh, and I didn't even know there was such a thing as being banned from Google. O_O I hope that never happens to me, since I use it all the time (*coughhomeworkcough*). Google <3
