Mascot Pokemon Always Large?

Or how about not having a Pokemon at all? Just throwing random ideas out there but whatever. I mean, using a Pokemon for the box art is cool and all, but I would like a titlescreen without a Pokemon. So far, to my knowledge, the formula has always been a Pokemon with either a color or design in the backround. I would sort of appreciate a screen that is like an actual picture or something. Or maybe just use a logo, but not a Pokemon. Like the emblem of the evil team or something like that, just something different. (But I doubt that would happen because in my mind Nintendo is famous for re-using old concepts, the exact same concept mind you, in pretty new environments, namely in Pokemon.)
