How would it be easier to chain pokemon?

because the snow covers the area outside snowpoint normally, and with the snow gone it means that people will find it easier to see the patches, and find it way easier to chaine stuff like sneasel, although ive already got 2 shiny sneasel from that area in the snow anyway so it wont really help me that much

to activate the mystery gift function,go to jubilife TV center...on the second floor, there is a man who accepts saying from you.
Tell Him the Following"Everyone Happy" & "Wi-Fi connection"& he shall say he can pull some string & get your Mystery Gift. save your game & reset.

Well, I forgot to set my DS clock an hour back due to daylight savings so on my game, it is tomorrow and the Diamond Dust is there. It isn't in the route next to it (it just turns snow there)
