When it comes to school work, my weakness lies in theory and memorizing things. I forgot my own sister's birthday last year, what are the chances I'll remember the actual year and date of India's independence for example? The good thing with Maths is that you don't need to cram it all in to do well. Once you got the rules down, the rest is a matter of practical application. It doesn't hurt to be logical either. Maths is one of the subjects you'd do better in the more you practice rather than the more you study.
Now for a short story: Why, back in primary school I was kicked out of a Maths test for allegedly attempting to cheat. We weren't allowed to use calculators then, and as I walked in the venue I had one in my hand. The teacher spotted it told me to leave behind the cheating device. So, I walked out and left my calculator in my bag. The second time I tried to enter the test venue, he stopped me again. I was like now what? Once again, he told me to leave the cheating device behind before taking my seat. I told him I left the calculator in my bag and showed him my empty hands as proof. Then, I realised, it wasn't the calculator he was talking about … it was my brains. x)
