Max's Pokemon

    Hi, I think that Max's new pokemon is going to be Charmander. They show all about him wanting a pokemon like in the Gardevoir/Kirilia/Ralts episode and stuff. May already has the two Kanto starter pokemon Bulbasaur and Squirtile. Now I think Max's first pokemon is charmander. Your ideas?
     
    does this mean that Max IS getting a starter Pokemon or in this threead are we assuming he will get a starter?
     
    I am just asuming that he will get Charmander, I mean all the other starters, kanto and hoenn, are on the show, so maybe he might get it. May has combusken, squirtle, bulbasaur and ash has treecko and brock has mudkip. So thats my conclusion.
     
    If/When Max gets a pokemon (which I really wish he would do it already -_-), I think they should give him the Ralts he made friends with. Though that would actually require the writers/producers to actually remember that they even had Max connect with a Ralts. >_>

    I don't want him to get another pokemon that Ash has... I'm tired of seeing all of the pokemon I've already seen with Ash. There are over 300 pokemon, I'm sure they could find a unique one to give Max.

    I know it's been a long while since Max has met that Ralts, but there's no rule anywhere that says "pokemon grow up and evolve on their own when they've been left alone for X amount of episodes". So it's perfectly alright that Ralts could go along with Max later on.
     
    well it seems like he'd get the following--
    Treeko~He <3 Treeko so he will probably get it for his starter
    Poochyena~ That one epi where he wants to help Poochyena evolve gives a KILLER hint that hes gonna get one.
    Ralts~ he made friends with the Ralts in Rescue Ralts so do i really have to explain?

    I've seen some pictures where Max has a Zigzagoon near him, he also has another Pokemon I can't remember. I wonder if that's a hint? I dunno...
     
    It would be cool if Max split from the group and went on a journey of his own. It would mean one less person for the group, and would allow Max to actually do stuff. ^-^;;

    If he gets his own pokemon, he'll probably end up leaving the group. It would be too much I think to have three main characters in the show. Before Max gets a pokemon though, he needs to establish a goal, like what he wants to be. Or did he already say that? I don't really remember. I only paid attention to Max after the movie with Jirachi came out. That was when the little guy began to grow on me. ^^
     
    Max should have his Jirachi for a Pokemon. =P

    Then again, I'm not sure he'll become a trainer or a professor instead.

    Not necessarily, remember that Spearow Ash conked on the head in one of the first episode of the first series, and then it comes back as a Fearow near the end of the series, so point taken that Ralts could have evolved by now.
     
    Max is my all-time fave. character! He should get a Pokemon. I think he should get a Poochyena just because of the episode where he helps that one Poochyena evolve!! :D

    I would say Ralts (he saves one in an episode), but since Pokemon has such a short attention span when it comes to those things, it's not guaranteed. Still, I'd like to see that.
