May and Combusken - Kanto Grand Festival

Cool,I like it.It sorta looks like a real pcture.
 
^Although I didn't like the Kanto GF or the outcomes of it, your art is very adorable! <3 I love the Combusken, very well-colored and exacted.
 
I really like the background in this - you get a sense of the scale of the arena. :) Combusken's stance is very determined, too! Nice job Gonbe ;)

As for crit, I think Combusken's head looks a little thin, and May looks rather slanted, but those are only minor things! ^^

Thank you very much for your comments. You are right , May's face and Combusken's anatomy is weird.

I drew another picture for Kanto Grand Festival, including May and Combusken. But this time combusken looks a little bit humanshape.

Description:
I drew fire red trainer by looking at his sprite. I chose mid evolution of fire starter: Charmeleon; because I think it is the coolest one. I drew it as its Sugimori pose. I wanted to add a real life background, a google earth photo of Kanto region, however none of real life Kanto pictures matches. Therefore I took the world map of Kanto from the game. I hope you like this retro drawing.

Your Grand Festival picture has a really neat perspective to it, and I think you did a great job with the Sugimori style in your FireRed picture. I'd like to see more art from you soon.
