    I am ready to enter the world of competitive battling,but i don't have the slightest idea to how am i gonna do that.I already have my EV trained team in Pearl,but i have some questions which are hindering me to do so.Please help me on this matter.I trust the aggressive competitive battlers of this widely respected forum know a thing or two.
    Okay,here they are:
    How do you assign FC's?
    What is a "Shoddy" battle?
    How do you know when your battle starts?(I think its the GTI time)
    Where is the time posted?
    How do activate the LVL. 100 thing?

    Please help me on these things,Thank you in advance.

    alright

    ~go to the lower floor of a pkmn center and log onto wifi. Once on you will be in the "wifi lounge". Exit, and then you will be able to see your friend code by checking your pal pad.

    ~Shoddy is an online server where you basically make up a team and battle. No training involved at all. You have to download it. And, its very similar to netbattle

    ~Once in the wifi lounge put up a challenge and your friend will accept. The battle begins then. Make sure you have added their f/c in your pal ad before entering though.

    ~Time has nothing to do with it

    ~You will be able to say lvl 100 all, before you start the battle.

    Go to your pal pad, there you can register friend names/codes
    What is a "Shoddy" battle?
    Shoddy is a program you download onto you computer that lets you battle with pokemon who's stats/moves you can change to whatever you want.
    How do you know when your battle starts?(I think its the GTI time)
    When? I'm not sure what you mean....If you mean GMT, then it's based on where your time zone is
    Where is the time posted?
    Again...I think you mean GMT
    How do activate the LVL. 100 thing?
    It's one of the options you can choose once you're in the wifi room

    Is a Pal pad what basically shows you all of your friends that you have made through Wi-Fi (or wirelessly)?

    Where can i download "shoddy"?
    Where can you see GMT(im sorry for the GTI)?
     
    The pal-pad is the key item that shows whose FCs you have registered, so yes it kind of does keep track of all your friends (doesn't show if they're online or not though).

    Time has nothing to do with battles. You can't really see the time from my experience.
