May's sadness

That part in Ready Go just goes along with the lyrics, too. It's something like "alas, there were tears". It's probably to make the lyrics seem more deep or something.

that doesnt mean it isn't foreshadowing.

Er, I wasn't talking about foreshadowing? I didn't read much of the thread, I was just talking about the lyrics

I think she looks sad because all the pokemon are so loud and she may have been just tired. Not everything has to be complicated.

may isnt like that though. she's loud and sometimes obnoxious. in my opinion, if she were older, she would be one of those part girls who can't keep her mouth shut.

Really? May seems more the unconfident type. Or at least she was. There aren't any really obsessively chatty people on Pokemon, I think

LOL. Aw, but I like the guy, tbh. He just gets hard-done by by the writers. But I digress.
Brock's possibly my favourite character after Gary and Ritchie. It's great watching him pathetically fail every time he tries to pick up a girl, you know? And for the first season, he was practically Ash's mentor when the PokéDex wasn't handy. Not to mention he uses Rock-Type Pokémon; that's a sign of coolness of the bat.

I wasn't too keen on watching the show after Brock left Ash to stay with Professor Ivy, but I pulled through. It was difficult, and until he came back, I didn't feel the show was too great.

Well, either way people care about the characters to a degree even thought they aren't real haha. Which was my point haha

I like this one.XD But it could be anything, really. I was told I looked like I was about to cry yesterday. I was eating ice cream. Crying was not on the agenda.

Err... I think Ebon Blade was meaning something similar to how Naru Narusegawa, Mutsumi Otohime, Mitsune Konno, and those girls act (You HAVE at least heard of Love Hina, right? because if you have, you might understand what I mean.)

Weedle was getting to what I was saying at. Also, if you remember from earlier in the series. She was always more concerned with how she looked and her shopping then she was about Pokemon... and she would complain and talk alot about "girl" stuff, back then she was probably the funniest of the characters. The only reason she was unconfident back then is because she didn't want to do anything with pokemon.

Wait, what does any of that stuff have to do with being chatty? Or did I miss the point? XD I think I might have XD Her saying "kamo" which she says all the time is to show unconfidence, from what I've heard. it's like "I suppose". Compare it to Dawn's "daijoubu" which is "It's OK" "I'm OK" etc

the point is that she was the generic "Teenage Girl" in the early episodes and then she changed into the genereic "Teenage Girl with a purpose".

I actually don't see that as a good thing because it's common for the themes of the episodes to be changed up by the dubbers.

Are you generalizing for all dubs? I don't know any show today to change themes of episodes.

Openings don't get changed all of the time as well you know.

I don't think he said "all the time".

Of course, that's still a good point, they don't change "All the time" (Otherwise, literally every episode would have a completely different opening, which would mean that, in the Pokemon Anime, it would have roughly 600 different openings, judging by how many episodes there are as of now.)

of course not! Naruto (although I don't watch the Naruto dub) doesn't change and that's a great show! Same with Bleach! Pokemon just changes the theme sometimes because it really is a children's show. Even Naruto is primarily watched by teenagers. I'm just saying that it's appropriate for the POkemon openings to change.
