Mays wish

She did seem interested in Ash the first time she saw him, but if the Misty episodes were to have happened before the movie, as well as the Illumise one, May clearly seems very interested in couples loving each other. The lines that May said at the end of the Illumise episode could be interpretated as her approving of the relationship between Ash and Misty.

I still think her doing the Ash/Misty thing has no logic. Especially seeing as I don't think the two even have a romantic relationship....

I mean, even if Ash and Misty DID like each other and May were interested in them, then that still doesn't explain why she would use her wish on something like that.

I mean, if there was proof that the two liked each other, then she wouldn't have to use a wish. She could just help them out the old fashoined way, something she didn't seem to be doing.

I think she used on herself, or at the most Max (but I really think she was wishing for her to do well in contests or something like that). But not Ash's and Misty's relationship because... to put it bluntly, that's sort of stupid. May didn't even act like she was interested in their relationship when Misty came back. If she WERE, then she would have gone crazy trying to hook them up, seeing as we all know May is so into romance and all.

Honestly. If you could make a wish, would you ACTUALLY wish on someone else's relationship? If you do then... Whatever. -_-

The timing of the movie, I'll just go with what Elite said...
 
True that that particular episode did air after the movie was released, but remember that the movies tend to be released before it actually happened. In America, the most recent example was Destiny Deoxys. The movie was premiered right after Ash just arrived in Mauville City. Also during all of the other movies, some releases were inappropriate since some Pok?mon aren't there yet.

Ya, but that was the AMERICAN release. The Japanese releases actually go by set times. <.<;;; And still...I highly doubt Haruka (or May) could give a rat's rear about Kasumi and Satoshi being together. I just don't think she's that way.

Don't listen to TV Tome. They don't have official sources, especially seeing as how they had the false episodes listed until last week that Serebii reported months ago and declared them as fakes later on. TV Tome just goes by what fans say.

And the American release dates mean squat to me since they've NEVER been shown on time after the first movie. The Japanese releases are accurate and are the originals. I'd rather go by that than something that isn't right. o_O
 
Let's not forget Haruka's obsessive attitude towards Kasumi when she temporarily rejoined the group. It was nothing of jealousy, so I doubt Haruka feels for Satoshi in that way. Then again, I could be wrong.

As for Haruka's wish, my guess is something to do with her being a Co-ordinator, such as improving her skills.
 
TVtome.com isn't all that inaccurate. Maybe just for Pok?mon and/or their predictions. (also considering that the site seems to be managed by users of the site...)

May seems to be the most informed on what the heck romance is all about. Even more so than Brock... *whew*
From the way I see it, May likes to make people around her happy (as goes for Ash, Misty, Brock, and everybody that's affiliated with them). I mean, May seems happy wherever she goes. I only see it that way because May hasn't made any obvious hints (to me) towards Ash. Because of that, if she were making a wish on a relationship, I'd say Ash and Misty. Had the movie been released after the show, I'd think May would think that. She was all ga-ga when Misty was there; why not let a girl you idol to get with a great guy? To me, she seems like the type of girl to do so. MY opinion.

The way that 4Kids finishes translating and releasing the episodes and movies is beyond me. Sorry if I made anyone mad.

Question: Is Serebii.net the official source to find out future things of Pok?mon? It sounds very reliable.
 
Serebii.net gets info from other sources that ARE reliable (such as PokeAni.com who gets their info straight from the source). We get our info from Japanese episodes and places that have close ties with the creators of the anime.

*shrugs* Suit yourself. But still, I don't see how May could have thought Misty liked him, seeing as I didn't see any hints from either in the episdoes... Oh well.

Actually, I was refering to the Volbeat/Illumise episode in which May did point out a certain line. (comon, I said it twice already!) Assuming, of course, the movie took place after that episode. (which it probably didn't)

Although the movie's been released before that episode aired in Japan, by the time the movie took place, I'm pretty sure that Ash talked about Misty a fair bit. (of course, I'm assuming that the movie was released near the end of the season since I haven't found a good site yet...) If that's the case, Ash would have talked about Misty a fair bit before May actually met Misty in person. Remember how she was eager to meet her? I believe May also stated that Ash talked about Misty before hand.

Oh, and thanks, Elite Trainer Raven. See, since it's not practical for me to download the Japanese episodes, I really didn't see the point on putting too much time on researching on it. Now that I see how it's important in my future opinions, I thank you again for giving me a reliable source.

So meh. I'd say it'd be to be a better coordinator.

Thats not entirely true and you know it ??

We only get future ep titles from there on occasion. Nothing else.

You know the answer as well as I do why such things aren't going to appear on TV anytime soon. Because the world isn't used to the concept of gays, lesbians, bisexuals, etx., nobody will try to publically do things as people will tear them apart. This especially applies to those people who believe there's a thing between Misty and May, and Ash and Gary. *shudder*

Just... don't fill my head with unpleasent pictures. There's already a thread on Pok?porn which I find it not needed here.
 
May's wish was one of two things.

1: (the more likely wish) To have the Pokemon show dubbed by a better company in the future. Too bad she didn't finish the wish...

2: (The less likely wish) While this could be anything, methinks it had something to do with Max and Jirachi...
 
I agree with Sparkchu, there were a lot of hints of love.
 
I really hope they tell us some time. I mean, I went the whole movie waiting for them to say and they didn't.

I think it has to do with coordinating since it seems like in the end she got confidence enough to not need the wish. Didn't she say something like "we have to make our own dreams come true?" or am i confusing that with something else?

I agree with that too. It makes sense for her to ask for jirachi to stay for her brothers happiness.
 
I know what it is she was wishing max could keep jirachi beacause he as very sad when he heard he only had a week to love jirachi
