Megaman is one of Capcom's most popular video game series, which also has anime, manga, and cartoon based around it. It's first kicked-off in late 1980's. If you're a fan of Megaman, then you already know many things about it; there's not much need to get into too much detail. :] Here, we could all gather and share our love for this franchise! Before you go on to post here, though, please take a quick look through the rules below.

I'm a huge fan. My favorite series is Battle Network and recently have got into the X series. I picked up X6 a few weeks ago and just started playing.

We used to have at least one new Megaman game a year whether it was X or BN or something else but it has been so long since we had one.

Which game series is your most favorite?
It would probably have to be Battle Network. I've played all games within this series, from 1 to 6. Second favorite would be Starforce.

My favorite games series would be the Zero serie. I found Zero pretty attaching and cool, the ending of Megaman Zero 4 was sad.

Favorite character: Zero(I thought I'd be the first to say that but Genesis up there beat me to it :P)


The first Megaman game I played was X, and a few years after that I played Battle Network 3 (Blue) and Megaman Zero 4, and also Megaman Battle Network 5. Never got a chance to play the other BN games or Zero 1 to 3.
Out of those, each had something awesome about it. Battle network had the unique thing with the cyber world, net navis, and viruses; Zero had the reploids, epic battles, and apparently more plot than I realized at first; on top of that, BN 5 had the liberation missions, and Zero 4 had cool levels.
Of course, all three of those had plenty of feels--I cried at the ending of BN3 and Zero4.


Megaman is one of my favorite games of all time for sure.

I remember playing X before, and it was pretty fun. Sadly, though, I never got to complete it. Was stuck in a level, and wasn't able to get out. xD" Might give it another try someday and see how it goes. You've only played Battle Network 3 and 5? You should definitely try the rest; they're amazing. Anyway, welcome, Merak!

I remember playing X when I was little. Me and my siblings made use of the password screen and basicly skipped to random points in the game or just skipped straight to the last levels.
Of course we couldn't beat the game because we weren't too good back then. lol


And yep, only BN3 and 5. My sister's played roms for 4 and 6 though, but I can't play those since my eyesight has dropped a good bit since I was in 5th grade in middleschool.
But if I could, I'd play more games like that. I'd even try playing Boktai like my sister and her friends have.

Have you ever played any of the Starforce series of games? If you have a DS or 3DS, then you should try them out sometime. You could buy them from eBay, Amazon, or GameStop; thankfully, they're not as expensive as they used to be. :] Personally, I loved Starforce 3.

Yeah I never had one particular favorite net navi, but bass.exe and protoman.exe were fun(and hard) to battle. lol

I personally love Protoman. He's got an amazing outfit, and his calm and cool personality really adds to the touch. Only net-navi I like more than him, though, would be Searchman. He's extremely similar, but unlike Proto, has ability to strike hits from any distance. Awesome, right? Only thing bad is that he doesn't have a "dark" form. Anyway, welcome, Shaymin! -Who is your favorite net battler? Lan by default because I never really got into the Battle Network series >_>;; Not because of the series itself, but more because I never played the games and I barely remember anything from the anime.
-Who is your favorite net-navi? Mega Man.EXE by default again for the same reasons as above.
-Which game series is your most favorite? Legends CAPCPOM WHY
-Which anime season did you like better? The original series, although again I don't remember much from NT Warrior and I never bothered with the Star Force anime. Should probably fix that, though.

Welcome, Red! Aw, that sucks. Battle Network was one of the best series in Megaman, in my opinion. If you haven't watched the anime, you could still go ahead and do so; it's not too late. You could play the games on your computer, too. :]

I know that this is over a month old, but Minerva gave permission to bump it, so hooray! Let's not let this die again, guys. Going to throw in a new topic for you all. :] Would you like to see them make a MMBN6 sequel at some point ib future? What would you want them to call it, and how would you expect its storyline to turn out? Which are some characters that you'd like to see here? What new features would you like them to introduce?

Actually, there's a fan project about a MMBN6 sequel. It's probably the closest we'll ever get to a true sequel. :L

Depends on if there actually NEEDS to be another Battle Network sequel. If there are a bunch of loose ends/cliffhangers that need addressing, then sure, but otherwise I'd rather they leave it alone and not turn it into another X/Zero series; had a perfectly good ending, but NOPE they had to go and make more anyway after Inafune explicitly told them not to, games that followed were...of mixed quality, parts of the Zero series had to be rewritten because they kept going with it.

Yeah, you're right; if it's had a good enough ending, it doesn't really need to come back. I'd still like to see it, though, only because it's my favorite series in particular; should be really cool to see how they actually pull it off, you know? ^^" Also, welcome to the club, Orph!

To Be honest there isn't any need to make more Battle Network Games. The ending really doesn't leave much room for a sequel. (Not going to spoil it for those of you who haven't beaten BN6.)
