Mega pidgeot + sky drop user in doubles?

I am not sure if I should be posting this here in ORAS or in battling and team building, but the thing is that I heard about the move Sky Drop not long ago, and it sounds like a funny move for doubles (I'm still breeding a good user for it), particularly when the sky dropper is paired with something who can take advantage of that situation, like machamp (whose no guard lets him hit the pokemon in the sky), a pokemon that can hit after the landing but before the dropped pokemon can move, or a pokemon with thunder/hurricane (as both moves do twice as much damage if the pokemon is in the sky). Thunder and hurricane with x2 damage is something to be afraid of. However, they have poor accuracy and setting the rain AND the sky drop just for the sake of it seems ridiculous. Here's where mega pidgeot enters, with no guard ability, it's able to always hit, so it can destroy almost anything you take with a sky dropper.
This might be a gimmick but it sure sounds like fun and I can't wait to see the new megas in action (and as paypal isn't processing my pays for some reason I'll probably have to wait like a week to buy ORAS :().

Well, what do you think of it? Have you already thought about some uses for the new megas we are getting?

I like your strategies of utilizing Mega-Pidgeot's No Guard; I also believe Toxic or burn works extremely well (If only Pidgeot could learn Will-O-Wisp) because the statused user can't do anything when sky dropped, thus losing at least 25% per Sky drop. Keep in mind however that there is a drawback to this ability in that any Stone Edge, Blizzard or Thunder will hit with perfect accuracy.
