Megaman Net Transmition: a glitched past

(don't make fun of the name, I couldn't think of anything.
In the net, about 3 years ago, the 2 net heroes, Lan Hikari and Megaman EXE. had rid the net of many viruses, along with WWW and gospel. at the time the world was overrun by computer problems and network malfunctions. Now, in the present the net is once again fluttered with viruses, and criminal activities, and to add to the rest of the fun, lan, megaman, and all of their friends are on a net free vacation. So it is now up to a bunch of new timed net heroes to get through the hoards of viruses, find out what?s causing them, and eliminate the enemy.

Ummm...the scanner screwed up, anyway, black hair, square specs., white shirt, white pants, black glove with emblem.
A student netbattler who uses the navi Tenguman.exe. He doesn't netbattle much, usually just kills viruses for money, or chips to sell for money. Found out about the error because the demand for battle chips was rising to counter the increase in virus attacks.

How he/she found out about the net problem: Um... He woke up one day?
Other: He focuses most of his life on Netbattle and almost never wins. He has a few rivals who bossed him over 30 wins against him, but he finally planned a strategy, and turned the tables, then earning him a few more wins.

Other: Always knows what he is doing and often bosses Daisuke around. His decisions are always declined by Daisuke, thus their losing streak.

Shande mostly stays closed off from the world aroudn him, preferring to stay at home or hang out with friends, but rarely in crowded areas such as malls and the like. Although quiet, Shane has a very strong sense of justice and often helps those in trouble.
How he/she found out about the net problem: His navi keeps him informed about problems, even though he rarely gets involved. As it is serious this time, he has decided to step in and help out.

His philosophy is you fight him and lose, you die, this could explain why few know of him. however, he has been present at many past disasters, a fleeing shadow each and every time, so his motives, alignment, appearance, and personality remain a mystery, as does who operates him, if anyone at all.

Kay arrived at the arcade exusted from the running.(You know you didn't have to run here. You could have easily rode your bike.) Kay shot a glare at his Navi. You could have reminded me before I ran a quarter of a mile.(Well I thought you knew what you were doing.) OKay Okay lets just play a game. As Kay was walking to his favorite game he saw a poster for a tournament later today. Hey we can enter that tournament today Zen.(Sure but you barly have any chips.) Well that will change today. (oh no your not going to play that game again are you?)I sure am and this time I'll win. (You say that everytime and always lose.) oh come on this time I'll only play once. (You always say that too and end up spending all of your money.) You just watch. Kay steped up to the game put in a dollar and the wheel began to spin. Okay I think we should time this together and it might land on the jackpot for all the chips in the machine.(3) 2 (1) now(now). The machine lights started the glow and the chips despenced. We did it I can't believe it we actually did it.( Hmmm you were right for the first time in months) Okay let's see we have two really rare chips a Meteor and some wood element chip I'm not sure what it does.(well just put the chips away already and let's play antother game) Okay sure.

OOC: Quotations signal Shane's speech, ~ ~ signals his Navi.

IC: Shane was present at the arcade, but kept toward the back of the place, an area where he could watch the net battle machines and the fights taking place, but he didn't want to participate, nor did his navi. He had nicknamed the navi X due to its scar, but still its true name was still unknown. Even to Shane, X was still a great mystery, the navi was not easy to read, even to his operator of 10 years. Any background data Shane tried to dig up was either non-existent or forbidden. He'd tried his best skills to hack the codes, but still he'd turned up nothing, thus the navi remained a mystery. Most strange however was the navi's ability to envoke powers which no others seem to be able to use, a speed boost, a strength boost, multi-form... these and more had sprung up randomly in battle, without chips. Mysterious he was... Shane sighed and closed his eyes for a moment, trying to block out the noise around him, but then a sharp voice startled him out of his day dream.

~you plan on falling asleep back here?~ It was X, being his usual self. From his tone of voice, Shane could tell the navi was obviously quite bored. Shane fished the PET from his pocket, grabbing the wrong thing a few times, then finally grabbing the solid black PET on his third try. "no, but what else am i supposed to do?" Shane spoke in a low tone, his voice almost whining. X shook his head and tightened the scarf which covered up his face from the nose down and also his neck. ~Netbattle someone, i wouldn't mind a fight.~ X smoothed back his hair and tightened the hair band at the base of his neck. Anothe rpeculiarity about this navi was that instead of wearing the usual suit like the others did, he was like a human in a virtual world, clothing and all, but his preference was to wear mostly metal plates for defense. "I guess... it shouldn't be too hard to find an opponent in this place, there are a lot of people, but i don't want to run the risk of..." X cut him off. ~There you go again, worrying aobut me. I told you a thousand times don't worry, I can handle myself. Jeez, you treat me like such a little kid sometimes.~ Shane sighed and shook his head, pocketing the PET and heading over to a netbattle machine.

On his way over to it, Shane spotted the poster for the tournament and his eyes lit up, this was a perfect opportunity for X. The navi wanted to fight and he would get his wish. Shane knew he didn't even have to ask if he wanted to participate, he could already tell that X would want to fight, this was going to be so great! He leaned against the machine, waiting for an opponent to come and challenge him. Though the tournament was a ways away, he knew he should still prepare for it now and the best way was to battle, win or lose, it still helped them.

(are you full yet? this is you'r third waffle) "well I guess I am now, I guess we can go over to the arcade, but I should get home and get my chips..." (yeah guess so...) "ok lets get going if if we wanna get there fast" (its only 2 blocks away though) Tek took a quick glance at Kit "I noticed that, but I don't have my scooter here and you know as well as I do the roads closed off" (I guess so...) about half an hour later Tek arrived home "hi mom, gotta get some chips and go to the arcade" (where did you leave them?) "um there... here! beside the laptop" (ok lets get going!)

(Yeah but you can get practice with the new ones) I guess so, the house is too far for me to go and be back in time for the tournament. (Why don't you just go to the chipshop and come back.)Good ida let's go. Kay walked over to the chipshop and started to look around. Okay we have enough to buy a HiCannon, Fire Tower and some power up chips.(Didn't you win alot of power up chips already though.) Yeah your right so instead I'll buy two longs sword battlechips. Kay payed for the chips and headed back to the arcade for some practice batttles.

"finally here" (well we would have been here faster if you weren't looking at unbuyable chips every chance you had) "ok well... ok..." Tek walked into the arcade to see a couple of people scattered through out the arcade "well at least theres some one here, ok lets make sure we have all of our chips" (ok good) "okay lets see, we have our cyber sword, our water tower" (our fire sword, our.... wait we don't want to give it away, what if someone can hear us?) "ok enough talk lets just find an opponent"

Shane waited near one of the netbattle machines, hoping an opponent would happen along, but if not he'd jsut head home. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a few chips and sifted through them quickly. LongBlade...Widesword..Longsword.. all swords.. well, these were at least. He put them back in his pocket and leaned agaisnt the machine again, arms folded and staring at the ceiling. Whoever came along, he hoped they'd be strong, that way he'd get a real good fight. He turned to look around and noticed two running toward the machines, but he decided he wouldn't ask for a battle, he'd have one of them invite him. If they didn't want to, that was on them.. whatever happens, at least he'd get to watch a battle.

Kay got back to the arcade he looked around for someone to battle. After searching for a bit he saw someone wearing a green scarf looking through some battlechips and walked up to him. "Hey do you want to net battle with me? I promise a good battle." (There you go go making promises when you don't even know how good he is) OH come on Zen you don't always have to critisize me." Anyway what do you say?"
