Film Memorable costumes or outfits

What are some pieces of costume design that have stayed in your mind over the years? Have any become an inspiration for you, for whatever reason?

The first example that comes to mind is Eiko Ishioka's work for Bram Stoker's Dracula:

Her impeccable work here is by far my favourite aspect of the movie.

Everything else aside, the costumes that Natalie Portman wore were very memorable, more than I think anything else in the movie.

I love the stuff she did in The Fall (good movie!) and Mirror Mirror (no so good movie but I still like it)

Star Wars: Episode I

Everything else aside, the costumes that Natalie Portman wore were very memorable, more than I think anything else in the movie.

Spoiler:

Yes!! Ms. Portman's attire during Episode I is one of the only aspects of the movie, perhaps the only aspect aside from Duel of the Fates, which is consistently praised and removed from criticism of the rest of the movie. I can't even begin to think of just how much the red & gold hairbun has been imitated over the years.

Eiko Ishioka was a goddess when it came to costume design. RIP.

Sandy Powell's work on Velvet Goldmine is probably my favourite example in film; it's a rare example of more costumes being better costumes, and not just having frills for the sake of it.
