    Adamant
EV:??? my choice here- 252 attack 252 defence 4 hp
    -Thunderpunch
    -Earthquake
    -??? meteor mash
-??? Explosion- for those tricky situations

thats just my choice, a physical sweeper that doubles as a physical wall.

    Froslass @ ??? leftovers works.
Mild (Please dont change) don't have to change but modest =/
EV:??? 252 sp. atk 252 speed 6 sp. def
    -Hail
    -Blizzard
    -??? Ice beam.
    -??? Destiny Bond, works everytime

froslass isn't the best pokemon to use, but I used it at one point, good luck with it.

    Standard Agiligross

    Metagross @ Life Orb
    Adamant
    EV: 252 Atk/104 Spd/152 HP
    -Thunderpunch/Explosion
    -Earthquake
    -Meteor Mash
    -Agility

Basically use Agility first turn so you cna outrun most of your opponents. Meteor Mahs is for STAB. Yeah it isn't 100% accuracy but it also can raise Metagross' attack. Earthquake is self explanatory. Thunderpunch to deal with Skarmory and bulky waters. Explosion is an option as usually no Pokemon without a defensive buff can survive it coming from this 405 attacker.

so hold on people, is metagross better off with defense or speed? coz ive heard about 252 att and 252 speed (agiligros), this is where im confused

With Agiligross you do not need maxed speed. Why? Because you have Agility to do that for you. Of course you need 104 Speed investments for it to be ideal.

no metagrosses speed is abyssmal either way, just use agility without speed EV's. and EV training only gives about 64 points higher then natural on any given stat.

adding agility in place of thunderpunch on my version of metagross would probably help you.

mine ends up with 405 attack 359 defence 176 speed, with an agility or two you'll be way up there.

For Agiligorss to outrun opponents it fears it needs the little speed investment. You know agains Dugtrio's and the likes. No point in running Agility if you wont get the speed you need.

well, go ahead with punishment's i'm not in the mood to argue, he usually beats me anyways.

    here's a metagross moveset i would use...

    Metagross @ leftovers
    Adamant
EV: what the heck is that!?
    Psychic
    Thunderpunch
    Meteor Mash
    Earthquake

If you don't even know what EV's are, don't post. It shows inexperience. Bad advice only hurts the person taking it.

Well at least you got three of it's standard moves down. Why Psychic? Adamant lowers the Special Attack stat. Plus Metagross' base special is 95. Sure it gets STAB and all but it sucks. Psychic doesn't have good coverage either. The only psychic move Metagross sghould be using is Agility.

so should i go with what punishment just mentioned? alrite then thx

Well it is up to how you want your Metagross to be. The set I posted isn't something of my own. It's the standard Agiligross which you seem to be looking for.

Mithos' set is another one of it's variants. A tad more sturdy that's all.

yeh im just looking for which one owns harder, hold on punishment instead of 152 hp y not 152 def?

Yeah you could go with Def too. But unless you have an IV of 30 or more you wont get pass the 300 mark. The extra HP does help. Metagross already has a base Defense of 130.

lol i dont really pay attention much to IVs just care bout natures and EVs more, i think im gonna wait until i see which sets more dominant
