They also fit in the category of nu-metal (which is a type of hard rock), or maybe typical hard rock/alternative rock, I don't know too much outside the boundaries of metal, but I do know what's not metal.

lol wut? Seriously? You talk about how you hate the trash, sure, but then you go on about those two? Now granted, I'm not a fan of nu-metal or deathcore, but I don't entirely think they're trash, they're good in their own world, just keep it out of metal.

Cradle and Dimmu on the otherhand, are still metal, yes, but one is all about a squawking ninny, and the other is pure exploitation, who've failed to even up-keep the quality of their sound to continue their pursuit of more money. You also listed Behemoth twice, btw.

Regrettably, Dimmu and Cradle ARE metal, just not good metal. I have to admit it, despite being a metal elitist. And I spit upon Job for a Cowboy.

Either way, if anyone in here is into modern thrash, I reccomend you check out California natives "A Band of Orcs"
