Does anybody play Metroid? I've played them all! My first Metroid game I played was, Metroid. :p I beat it when I 7, and got the best ending! :p I also didn't cared Samus was a women, I was more excited about killing the Mother Brain. :p How about yall?

As I grew more mature, the Metroid series replaced the Pokemon series as my favorite Nintendo franchise.

The first Metroid Game I played was Super Metroid when I was 7, then Metroid II, then the original, then Prime and Zero Mission (though Prime is annoying the heck out of me...3-D environments always confuse me ;_; )

I don't care what you guys think, Kraid is one of Nintendo's all-time best villians ever!

    [Me] <--- [Major Metroid Fan]

Of course Kraid pwnz Tmbjr! He appeared in one of SSBMs courses after all. XD

I've also played them all... Haven't played a Metroid game that I've hated yet. I hope I never have to either.

*Tendo is looking forward to Metroid Prime 2*

The only metroid game I ever played was Metroid prime, but let me tell you, it is a FANTASTIC game. It has great graphics, and is full of action. I just hate how you spend hours on one puzzle, and when you finally finish it, you find a new, harder to figure out puzzle.

I've always been able to figure out the puzzles in the metroid series...especially the ones in Prime. I think they're much easier than the old Metroid games' puzzles.

I don't think the metroid series would've been the same if Samus was a guy. It would be so boring to beat the game then see the hero take off his helmet to expose that he is a man, just like all other space heroes to date...Besides, Samus as a woman is hot ^_^

I heard that in metroid fusion, when she dies, her suit disappears and you see her in her bathing suit.

The first Metroid I played was the original metroid. I didn't like it all that much, you pretty much stumble through the whole game and the map was hard to memorize at points. Metroid for GBC was the next I played, an di managed to get through that one much easier. Then Metroid Prime, Which frankly I liked the best. Best graphically, storywise, and they had sensors pop up to point you to the next area you needed to go, so you weren't just wandering around like teh past metroid games.

I still get lost. Im stuck on the snow level. I think im supposed to get the space jump boots.

On Metroid Prime, the Space Jump boots are all the way back right next to your ship. You need the Boost Ball to get up to it though. Go back to Tallon Overworld, and to the area near the entrance to Chozo Ruins. There is a half-pipe there, so boost ball all the way to the top. Cross the bridge and bomb through, making sure not to fall down near the ship, and get into the door and pick up the Boots.

Hey, thanx, that helped a ton! (I already had the boost ball.)

Yep, found that, and thanks for all ur help. Have u beaten the game yet?

She doesn't die in Metroid Fusion nor does she ever die in any of the games. =\

That?s basically what made them so fun - Exploration. Besides, back then the concept of an in-game location indicator was unheard for games like the original Metroid.

You may have liked that, but I like to at least have a clue what I'm doing whyen I play a game. And she does basically die in Fusion, but a fusion with a Metroid saves her and brings her back.

NO! You ruined it 4 me!(although I didnt intend to play fusion)

I dunno whether or not I like having indicators point you where to go (as in Metroid Zero Mission and Metroid Prime). It helps you pregress through the game faster, but they often point you away from some power-ups you may need...

I don't know about Metroid or Matroid II, but I knopw Super Metroid had a form of lacation indicators in that you couldn't get the Gravity suit until you get to the Wrecked Ship, you couldn't advance to wrecked ship until you found the Grapple beam, you couldn't get the grapple beam until you beat Crocomire, you couldn't beat Crocomire until you got the power bombs etc.
Basically the whole game was a long chain like that...

It's possible to get the Space Jump Boots w/o the boost ball, meaning you can get them as soon as you land the first time. =o It's a trick with the dash and one of the visors. *actually played Prime, shocked many people XD*
