Mew Rumours and others

Yes in the Gen I game there has been the rumors of how to catch 151 or known as Mew. There were many theories how to catch Mew one was the gap in Bills house and another I heard was a truck in Celedon City although these all proved to be fakes now I want to know what methods were given to you how to catch Mew but failed.

On the others I remember hearing if you put 2 Pikachu Pokemon cards together there will be a Pichu Card in the morning which sparked so much excitment since we were 8 and Gold just came out introducting Pichu.

i did that in yellow a few years ago :)

there was a cheat i found on the internet to get mew on ruby (fake)

restet your game 5 times and run around littleroot town 100 times and mew will a peer. of cause i tried it and of cause it didnt work :)

I dont know how everyone (I mean everyone in the entire world) heard about the truck near the SS Anne rumour. The internet really didnt exist back then. It amazes me how everyone just knew about it.
