    How many of you were successfully able to capture mew through a glitch in the game (red/blue) handheld or emulation.

    What method works better, catching a mew along route #25, catching and abra and dualling the nuggest bridge trainers, or using the fly HM option.

    Aside from red/blue what game is the easiest to catch Mew and how?

    Probably Emerald seeing as how it is catchable in that game if I'm not mistaken.

    I got a shiny mew out of that one.
     
    Nice one, I got my first mew via gold. I haven't got the heart to play above generation 2, I can't seem to find any decent action replay codes for pokemon sapphire/ruby, would love to have all 3 starter pokemon, going off track :D
     
    The best method, IMO, was the teleport glitch. The fly glitch works well, also, but you have to wait until you get Fly..obviously.

    Also, the last pokemon you battled determines the Pokemon that appears. If you battle a different trainer, the special stat of their last pokemon determines it.

    I've gotten a Magmar in yellow version that way.
