My friend is trying to build up a deck. His favorite Pokemon is Mewtwo and he's trying to build up a good Psychic type deck with it. Here is what I came up with:

    3x Mewtwo EX (Next Destinies)

    2x Chandelure (Noble Victories 60/101)

2x Reuniclus (Black and White 57/114)

    3x Lampent (Noble Victories 59/101)

3x Duosion (Black and White 56/114)

4x Solosis (Black and White 55/114)

    4x Litwick (Noble Victories 57/101)

    Trainers:
    x4 Switch

    x3 Pokemon Collector

    Others coming soon!

    Strategy:

    Mewtwo's side:

Use Psydrive to knock out Pokemon & Use X Ball when alot of energies are attached (In a serious condition).

    Chandelure's side:

Use Searing shot when Litwick to burn opponent and deal damage.

Evolve into Lampent to get a step closer and deal damage.

Evolve and use Chandelure's Ability to damage Powerhouses and use Eerie Glow to knock out Pokemon.

    Reuniclus' side:

Deal damage with Solosis and Duosion.

(With Black and White): Transfer damage counters on damaged Pokemon to Reuniclus.

So Please tell me what should I add to the deck or remove and have a nice day and a Merry Christmas! :D

Since Mewtwo EX is a possible 2-prize liability a piece, you should really only be running at most 2-3 copies. Also using it as a spot to put all of your damage can be potentially hurtful if he's unprotected against catcher.

There's a ton more stuff to mention, but just take a moment to look at the cards from the sets in Japan. Psychic and Dark are going to be insane. And what's more scary is how well they work together. Definitely brace yourself for mirror matchups and the flood of psychic builds.

Also Darkrai EX could take a similar role to that of Dodrio. With the added cost of needing to have a darkness energy attached to the pokemon, they recieve free retreat as opposed to -2 retreat. It also has 180 HP, a psychic resistance, and generally sets up faster than Dodrio. It actually has a decent attack to compliment the deck, too, since for DDC you deal 90 to the active and 30 to a benched pokemon, so you can cash in on bench hits as well as well as hit the active for massive damage. I actually think it would be a more viable option in your deck than Mewtwo overall.

I think he should experiment and get the hang of the synergy between Mewtwo and Reuniclus first before adding in Chandelure, but it looks like a pretty good combination. May want to add in Dodrio and Doduo from HS Undaunted to make switching with the Chandelures work better. Oh, and 4 Switch for sure.
    Thanks for the suggestions! :D

Yeah, thanks for the advice. I'm not so sure if my friend want's to use Japanese cards. He might end up going to use this in a official tournament.

Tanaki meant to take a look at the cards that are going to be coming to America with those sets. Tanaki was saying that there are going to be a lot of Psychic and Dark type decks running rampant when those sets hit.
