3rd Gen Mirage Island sensitive?

    Ok, I beat Ruby, got Rayquaza, Heading for the Regi's soon. I was checking into Mirage Island. I keep talking to the Mirage Island guy, i've changed pokemon about 20 times now. he consistantly "can't see Mirage Island" What kind of pokemon are sensitive to Mirage?
     
    To be honest... I'm not even sure if there are any Mirage Island sensitive pokémon...
     
    Every Pokémon has a special value assigned to it. (which is the same value that determines if it's shiny or not) Every day there's one specific value that makes Mirage Island appear. If you have a Pokémon with the ''value of the day'' in your party, only then will Mirage Island appear. You could spend a year showing every Pokémon in your boxes to the guy and still not see Mirage Island, it's that rare. =\

    I have had Sapphire and Emerald for about four and two years now [respectively] and I have yet to see Mirage Island. Heh. Hope you have better luck, though.
     
    I know it is crazy but in reality there is really nothing there just berrys and a bunch of wynaut.

    A really rare berry, I might add. For people who don't have a Gamecube and Colosseum or XD, Mirage Island is the only way to get Liechi Berry.
     
    Ups attack, i think. Its like the berries trainers use in Battle Frontier that up the stats of pokemon.
     
    oh...so if i have the right pokemon at the right day in my pc, there is no mirage island, but if i take it into the team then mirage island appears? and if i put it back into pc the same day, the island disappears?

    i've got col. and XD...did i miss something? leichi is the only berry im missing of those...

    I was under the impression that you could get all the stat boosting berries in Colosseum/XD, but it seems I was wrong. o.o Let me correct my statement: Mirage Island is the only legit way to get a Liechi Berry. But I don't give a damn whether or not it can be obatined in XD/Colosseum since I don't own a Gamecube to begin with.
