"Great now I have 105 total points against me..." Johann moaned quietly to himself as he put his head on the desk. Meanwhile, Professor Snape was writing a problem on the board for the class to copy.
"Does anyone know how one can become a warewolf?" Professor Snape said coldly, as he scowled around the room at the students.
Johann sighed, and raised his hand. He skipped out on answering one question he might as well answer this one to try and redeem some of the points lost. Professor Snape caught sight of his hand, but pretended not to notice as he set his gaze on Alvender. "Mr. McCollan," Professor Snape said flatly.
"Yessir?" Alvender asked innocently.
"Answer the question, boy," Professor Snape hissed, annoyed at Alvender already.
"I...I...don't know how, sir. I haven't looked in my book yet," Alvender admitted in a soft whisper.
"What was that? Mr. McCollan, the great author, doesn't know how someone can become a warewolf!" Professor Snape snapped with a tone of vicious sarcasm that made Alvender want to duck under the desk. Why did it have to be Snape who taught this class?
"Does anyone know?" Snape said returning to the room full of students.
Johann, by now, was waving his hand in the air with as much vigor as he could must. Still Professor Snape paid little attention to the boy until finally he snapped, "Mr. Bach, if you don't quit that rediculous waving right now, I'll deduct more points from Ravenclaw!"
"But Professor! I know the answer!" Johann protested as he continued to leave his hand up in the air.
"Mr. Bach, if you don't put your hand down this instint, I will personally give you the rest of the year in detention," Professor Snape said coolly, and then turned to the rest of the class and said, "Now class, how does one turn into a warewolf?"
Johann finally gave up, and sat there, it seemed like there was no way he could ever get Professor Snape to let him gain any points. He could only hope someone from his house would answer the question.
