The slytherin members knew that they had done thier damage and took off, and I said "good riddance. That was one of the most annoying things ever." how did they know I like to think I'm a wolf? I wondered

"Lavender Smith..." Lavender replied, picking up her cat from the ground. "What happened in there?" she then added.

"Not quite sure myself..." He replied, as the boys filed out of the compartment.

"Are you alright?" He said turning to the girl who had been harrassed. His soft deep blue eyes gently searched the compartment at the other faces in the room.

"Oh, sorry for barging in. My name is Jamie O'neal." He said bowing politely.

"I'm fine. a bit humiliated, but I'm all too used to it. anyway, My name's Toklata." I said, a bit unsteady, as I began digging through my items..

"Well I guess I'll be going then..." Jamie said bowing one more time then leaving the compartment, and running into a big 5th year.

"Hey buddy watch it." He said turning to Jamie.

"Sorry, mister...I didn't see you there...I'll be more careful the next time I swear." Jamie said, his calm and steady eyes showing a hint of fear in them, though he was more mature than the average 13 year old, he still was a 10 year old at heart.

"It's ok, but just watch out the next time. Cause some of these people are really nasty." He cautioned and then moved onto the next car.

Nodding, Jamie went the opposite direction and down the hall, looking for something inparticular, although he was altogether sure of what he was looking for.

Once Jamie left, Velvet jumped off of Lavenders shoulder and walked cautiously over to to Toklata.
Hmmm...its strange how well she acts around strangers now... Lavender thought as Velvet pawed at Toklata's leg. Though Lavender didnt say anything.

I didn't quite feel like returning to my own compartment, so without even bothering to ask, I slid into a seat of my own in the compartment, tucking the knife back into my jeans pocket. "I'm Jake" I added flatly, gazing around at the copartment quickly.

Josh heard a fight going on. He heard themselves say they were Slytherins.
'Good riddence!' he said in his head. 'Those Slytherin jerks got what they deserved!'

Ten minutes later, the train stopped. Josh looked out the window. They were at a station.
"Firs' years over 'ere!" yelled a booming voice at the door. "Firs' years over 'ere! Leave ya luggage and come over 'ere!"
Josh got up and followed the voice. It belonged to a big man with a black beared. Josh jumped off and waited.

I ambled slowly off the train and followed the crowd of my year, looking around at them. It seemed the friendships had already formed. As usual, I wasn't a part of them. Fine by me. Who needed those fools anyway. Most of them probably wouldn't even graduate. Bunch of idiots.

"Come on Velvet..." Lavender said, feeling the train stop. Velvet stopped pawing at the girls leg and jumped onto Lavenders shoulder. Soon they were outside, and Lavender lined up behind a huge man. She then looked around her. There were so many students, but the giant castle could be seen in the distance. Lavender was simply amazed, and she could tell that Velvet was to.

Josh was towards the front of the line. The man was making sure everyone was there.
"Everyone 'ere?" he asked looking. "Good! I'm Hagrid, Keeper of the Keys and grounds at Hogwarts! Any questions?" No body raised their hands. "Good! Now we are going to be sailing accross the water-"
"What if you're scared of water?" Brendan asked.
"Maybe you should've asked that when I asked if there were any questions!" Hagrid said. "Now off we go! One to four in a boat!"
Josh hopped in a boat and waited. He hopped there'd be someone willing to row with him.

<OOC>Just stayin' in character there...<OOC>

I sat down silently in a boat with one other, another male. I hoped he wouldn't try to start a conversation. I wasn't in the mood. Then again, I never was. Still, it didn't matter. I simply didn't want to talk.

Lavender climbed into a boat that no one was in, and placed Velvet on the seat beside her. Lavender then dipped her hand in the water. Lavender loved water, but her foster parents never took her to the beach or anything. Velvet on the other hand, despised the water, and quickly jumped back onto Lavender lap.

Jamie boarded one of the last boats in the dock. He wasn't really anti-social, but he wasn't a social butterfly, he rather be alone than with a bunch of people.

Giving out a sigh he relaxed his muscles and enjoyed to boat ride across the lake. his eyes shut tight as he tryed to image himself in hogwarts, and what house he would be in.

Ryan was one of the last people off the train. He couldn't find Xander, his great horned owl. He knew that he let Xander fly around, but he didn't know wher he went, but he found him asleep under a seat and rushed to get onto a boat and not left behind. He saw Lavender and Velvet in a nearby boat so he went and got in with her. "Hope it's alright." he said to her, with Xander perched ontop of his head.

I hopped off the train, muttering something aobut a diary. those slytherin jerks had found my diary, but it didn't look like they had gotten too far... I managed to get into one of the boats, and relaxed, with Chaos on my lap.

For me, the ride across the lake was uneventful. Before I knew it, we were across the lake and pulling up to the dock. With a sigh, I got up, trying not to upset the boat with my size and stepped onto the stone pier.

"I am just ready for the feast." Ryan told Lavender as they were coming to the dock across the lake. "I've heard from my parents that Hogwarts has the best food anywhere on the planet. And that there is so much of it, too!" Ryan licked his lips and waited to get off of the boat.
