Misadventures at Hogwarts: Term 1 **THE NEW VERSION**

I took a deep breath before stepping into the hidden platform. It had only been recently I had found out that my mother was a witch and my father a "muggle." How they managed to hide it all these years was a mystery to me.

After hauling all of my belongs onto the train, I luckily found an empy compartment, and settled there for the trip.

I walke dinto a compartment, to find it was already occupied, but only by a single person, a boy around my age. "Mind if I join you?" I asked, it would be better to find a compartment now than to wander looking for an empty one.
 
Crystal finally found an open compartment. She heard a loud crash in the one before it,put her bags down,and went to investigate.

ic: I had all the neccesary items to get into Hogwarts, I was a halfblood, my mother was a muggle, and my dad was a wizard, something that I think I'll never know, is that , why my mom know about Hogwarts all the magical stuff, and she acts like if everything was alright! so my parents told me the secret of the platform 9 and 3/4. I saw the wall which I needed to step in, so I did it, I stepped in and saw the giant red with black train, I entered the "Hogwarts Express" and I started to search for an empty compartment, but I just got a compartment with kids of 11 years old, I opened the door and asked: "can I sit here?"

Ryan: Mind if I join you? Everywhere else is filled.

The boy looked up from his textbook and smiled.

Josh:Of course you can!

Ryan smiled.

OOC: You did two things wrong.
1) That was scri[t/ Sorry if I didn't say anything but you are not allowed to post script
2) Controlling my character. That was another thing. You control your character/s and our character ONLY. you can only control others characters if stated.

All new comers are in.

"No problem!" Josh said turning his attention back to his Transfiguration book. After finishing the first part he put it away and looked out the window.

OOC: Sorry that was a bit short. I'll post more after school.
 
"I'm Ivan." I said, looking through my books. "Yes, I've been thinking about this ever since i was little. If you could find a way to use transfiguration as a base for charms, you might be able to invent some true shapeshifting spells, almost like out of fairy-tales." I explained.
 
"Well, from what I can tell, transfiguration is much more complex than charms, imagine being able to change shape with a simple charm, like in muggle stories." I said, still getting used to the term muggle.
 
OOC: I get in trouble because I made you say "Of course you can?" Um..Ok? And why can't you use script. There has to be a good reason and not just because of personal reasons.

Ryan noticed the boy was obviously a quiet one and most likely didn't want him sitting by him, or so he thought. He thought he had seen a few empty compartments in the back, for the losers and geeks, but oh well that would have to do. He stood up, got his things and moved back to an empty compartment. He used a simple spell to lock the compartment so no one could bother him.
 
"just about anything living if it would work. Another hair color, another species, another gender, anything." I explained, hoping he'd see why it would be worth it to try and figure it out.

"It was only an example, you could change anything." I said, but the added "thanks, I might take you up on that later on."
