Saphira watched Crystal and Lavender. She sighed heavily. Maybe she could trust them with some of her secrets. Maybe if she told them about her past it wouldnt come back to haunt her.

Saphira didnt nkow either girl that well, but she decided to anyway. Saphira slowly walked up to them.

"Guys?" She said quietly, thinking this might have been a mistake.

Jillian grasped her forearm quickly.

"N-nothing," she whispered.

Smooth... called Honouria from next to her ankles. You're gonna let something slip pretty soon you now....

"Thats a done deal, Crystal", Lavender said, and Velvet mewed after. "I promise I wont tell a soul"

Jillian sat down, sighing. She closed her eyes gently, and laid her head on her knees.

When she lifted her head back up, two orange cat-like ears were perched atop her head. She didn't realize it however, but Honouria did.

JILLIAN!!!

Jillian gasped, blushing madly. She leapt up suddenly, her crystal popping from her shirt, glowing brightly.

She turned on her heel and ran, clasping her hands over her head and willing the ears away. Tears streamed down her face as she ran and ran. She was so embarrassed and worried. Worried about what could now happen to her.

Jillian finally tripped over a rock, tumbling down a grassy slope tword the lake. She stopped on the beach, and a wave washed over her, soaking her robes and causing her clothes to cling to her body. She buried her head in her knees again, and cried.

"Fine," Jillian murmered, not looking up.

"You probably think I'm a freak now..." she whispered, her voice cracking with emotion.

"You don't understand! I have no control over it! And I have to keep it secret... There are- there are people after me, Brian. People who want to use me..." she whispered, turning her teary face up at the boy.

"Dumbledore cannot protect me from what's after me... No one can but me. That's why it's so important that I get control over this "gift"."

She said the word gift with a sense of utter distaste. As if the word left a bitter flavor in her mouth.

Jillian was shaking from fear and cold. The lake water had caused her robes and underclothes to become unimaginably heavy.

"Your ability has never made you do the things that mine has..." she whispered. "I can gaurentee that..."

Jillian looked up, interested. "Oh?" she said quietly, wiping a hand across her face to get rid of the mingling water and tears.

I was feeling a bit torn. I didn't want to tell the whole truth. Not just yet...

"The thing is I'm cursed." I admitted. " There is this little wooden box in my bag that I have to stay within twenty feet of or I turn into a Hungarian Horntail. A powerful Dragon rated 5/5 on teh danger scale in teh Magical Creatures book. if I change, I lose all sense of myself and I'll go on a rampage, killing all sorts of people. That's why I'm at hogwartz. No other school would take me due to the potential danger." I muttered, now looking at the ground to hide my embarrassement.
