[WORKING AS INTENDED] Missing "New Posts" button

I know when 2.0 came out the "New Posts" button was visible because I was using it. Once I posted about favorites not working the New Posts button then became Followed Threads. I don't know what happened and I haven't been able to find a New Posts button anywhere in the 2.0 version. It would mean a great deal to me if it could be added back (unless of course its something on mine side that I'm blind and totally missing.) I use this ALL the time to the point where I am using one of the older styles just to have that feature.

Hit the search button in the navigation bar at the top - it's in the bottom center.
