I'm not even sure if this topic should belong here or not, but anyway I remember playing on my Japanese Pearl Version and using the Elite Four Surf Glitch to get Shaymin and most importantly, Darkrai. Then it hit me today, and Im hoping I'm the only one who came up with this, but if you can go anywhere with that glitch, surely it must be possible to go to PalPark. A pokemon geek from my school used to do a load of hacking and told me about how you can catch Missingnos in the PalPark by using the walk through wall code. So it must be possible to catch a Missingno(not that you'd want to) with the glitch? Or am I just dreaming too much? Before i can start the glitch I need to find the exact coordinates to the park. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

Missingno. was caused by a glitch in the programming of R/B/Y, the original Game Boy games. It doesn't appear in any other games. So . . . no, that's not possible. Sorry, your friend was wrong.

Then what would appear though? Some sort of evolved glitch or a messed up Mew? Can't wait to experiment....

@FalconsDreamer You could only be more wrong! If you dont have a Pokemon it sends out a missingno. in any game.

Well I see YouTube hackers get Missingnos in the 3rd Gen games.....Nevertheless this might lead us into a new depth into glitches?

DPBox? Is that what Missingnos are called in the 4th gen games?

Missing No. Was Only Available in Gen.1 Maybe something Else But not that missing no. was an L Shaped pixels pokemon. So............ your Friend Is wrong. Also the Gen #3 Question mark is Not it Either it is "???" An Other Glitch.

I think he assumed that every dodgy glitch pokemon was a missingno. Hopefully in about two days I can have my first stab at the glitch and unravel the secret.

Look it up on youtube i've seen people.

missing no stands for missing number and before you catch it you need a spare space in your party so it doesent glith up your game,
also to up your chances you need to activate a in game movie like a trade
    beware of m

Well that's not really my concern at the moment. I'm hoping to use the tweaking glitch instead to get to PalPark. Which calls for my DS Lite instead of my DSi which was too fast to glitch. It only took about 3 hours to come to this so if it fails then it's not too painful. By the way is the PalPark already present in the game map at the start of the game(as in is it possible to access without the National Dex or does it appear once certain targets have been met)?

The most well known missingo was originally gonna be a baby kangaskan in red and blue but they removed it and the cinnabar island glitch ended up giving you a glitched pokemon named missingo and know glitched pokemon are known as missingo.

Gathering up all the Information the guys have posted here and a small amount of Google research, I pretty much say that the MissingNo's, cannot be preformed in Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. So unless you prove everyone wrong, MissingNo's are something in the Past, not the present. Good Luck with your "Experiment" =D.

Um well whatever comes up. Has anyone tried walking into PalPark without transferring GBA pokemon with an AR? If something does appear then I wouldn't be at all surprised if something appears with the glitch too. Btw how did the discoverers of the Elite 4 Door Surf Glitch find the exact coordinates to Darkrai & Shaymin? Or was that just trial and error?

You know, I've had a hard time trying to tweak...it either crashes or gives me a unwalkable black abyss. I have never acutually done tweaking properly... Plus I think the places near PalPark are just way to easy to render so tweakings gonna be extra hard right?

Ah ok that might work.. Does the tweaking thing work with Platinum too? My Pearl is still at it's early stages

    -----EDIT-----
it does work. Just need to try harder
