Alright mayby I was a little hard, May is O.K, but I still think that Misty is the better one! In fact I think that May/Drew is the second best cuple in Pkmn.
 
Misty is a bit bad tempered and I don't like Orange and Green or the colour of her shorts.
Sorry for Misty fans.
 
Has anyone noticed that like, 90% of the Pokeshippers out there are Contestshippers too? =/

It's weird, I'm a PokeShipper and I despise ContestShipping
it's either May and Richie or May and Marina/Dani
And Katana, who knows what the future holds.....

I can't stand all of these hate comments. Although I'm a AAML fan all the way, I don't try to flame May or other characters! That's just stupid in many ways.

Whatever, just keep calm guys. It's just a show! (A show that's consumed my life...)

I saw the relationship only after the fact that Misty was leaving the group for good. From then, I was hooked on the idea. I resented May then, but I've grown to like her. She seems to be a sister to Ash.

Anyways, Misty is the more likely canidate. She's always been there for Ash since the beginning of his journey. I think that without her, Ash would have never survived the Sperow flock without major injuries, possibly making him incapible of even battling.

Also, since 4Kids added the incredible amount of hints, it's hard not to tell that Misty likes Ash. I could list a lot, but it'd take up too much space...

Even now, there's hints of Misty still in the new series. The two that I can remember so far that are the biggest was teh Volbeat/Illumise episode and the more recent episode that involved the lovey-dovey couple Oscar and Andy. Although obviously meant to be aimed at Ash and May, the couple did mention that fighting was always the first step towards love, and Misty came in first. Remember how ofter they fought each other in the past?

Well, that's all I am willing to put down for now. If anyone retaliates, I'd be happy to argue back.

Oscar and Andy were corny and annoying.May does not go with Ash,Misty does.I'm
not a Pokeshipper or Advanceshipper,either.If I had my way with the show,May
doesn't go with anybody.However,I loathe Contestshipping.
 
I kind of like the girlxgirl shippings.Maybe Marina,Kanata,or Liza/Ran.
 
That was a fan based opinion.I know they are not really gay.Any shipping is also

EDIT: Advanceshipping forever! Pokeshipping, well its okay, but I'm not a darn supporter. (I used to like Pokeshipping but when May came, I almost wished Misty would never come back, ever.)

That's exactly what do i mean! 4 example: Misty got very angry with Ash when he destroyed (well Pikachu did it) her Bike and when he (well Pikachu.... again) destroyed May's bike she said: "Oh who cares!" i mean: this is going the same way of Inuyasha (need some explanation? talk to me!) well dpkuro in short: I'm on your side XD
 
well this is kinda a hard question. they both have their bad qualities: they both whine a lot. One doesnt like pokemon very much, the other freaks out over bugs. but then again they have good qualities too. Misty is really passionate about her water pokemon, and May is really pasionate about her pokemon contests. Im going to have to say Misty is the best though, because Im one of those first generation pokemon fans, and because May can annoy me way more then Misty ever could (no offense may fans ;) )
 
You don't remember the Volbeat/Illumise episode, cold_katanagirl? Here's the summary:

Ash and friends arrived at a lake. Oddly enough, the lake was called Lake May. (which is totally for fun, I think) There, Ash, May, Max, and Brock notice a Pok?mon over the lake. It was someone's Illumise. They also managed to see a Volbeat. It was seemingly doing a dance. On a pier in the lake, Ash and friends find Romeo and Juliet, Trainers of Volbeat and Illumise, respectfully. After a short chat on practicing for their performance later that night, Juliet tells Romeo to release his other Volbeat. he did so, but quickly lost command over the Pok?mon. All five fell in the lake, but Ash and friends quickly aid them. Romeo tries desperately to save the Pok?mon, but it turns out he couldn't swim, so they had to drag him out...

Later, Romeo talks to Ash and friends (after Juliet left) about what just happened. Normally, he trains great with his Volbeat, but whenever he's near Juliet, he goes completely nervous, not able to give commands as well as unable to control them. May quickly diagnoses Romeo's sickness as love-sickness. Ash, like always, was too dense to catch any of it. To cure Romeo of his stage fright with Juliet, May proposes a plan.

Romeo tries the lines that May taught him to Juliet, who was now on a porch. He was stuttering everywhere, and Juliet gets angry. It turns out that they were just practicing, and Ash was the unfortunate actor of Juliet. Brock attepts to show Romeo how to talk with feeling, but this time he went WAY too far. Imaniging that Juliet was actually there, he chased Ash everywhere.

That night, Juilet was wondering why Romeo was acting all wierd. She thought of the moment when they were little kids. Little Juliet said to little Romeo that they were perfect for each other, and should marry when they grow up. At that time, Romeo had absolutely no fear. That memory quickly faded as she saw a light over the lake. Thinking that it was one of Romeo's Volbeat training, she quickly told Illumise to see what they were doing. After a moment, both lights over the lake faded. It was none other than Team Rocket. (of course, she didn't know that)

She ran to where Romeo and Ash and friends were. By that time, it was morning. Unfortunately for Romeo, she nearly interupted his practice to profess his love for her. She hid, but the situation grew dire, and she finally walked from her cover behind some trees after Romeo finished. She asked them where her Illumise was. Before long, Team Rocket appeared, saying their motto like always, and managed to get a hold of Pikachu as well. Romeo, after gaining courage, released his five Volbeat, attacked Team Rocket mercilessly, and blew them sky-high with Psybeam.

After the battle, Romeo finally mustered the courage to propose to Juliet. Of course, she accepted, and both became very happy. Ash was still clueless as to what just happened! That night, Ash and friends saw Romeo and Juliet perform the Volbeat/Illumise dance in the night sky.

Whew! Hope I got the main details down. Anyways, throughout the entire episode, there were many hints that relates to Ash and Misty's old friendship. Also to consider, 4Kids decided to release this episode after Misty made her guest appearence in Hoenn, although in Japan, this episode was release before Kasumi's appearence.
 
Depending on what type of shipper you are,you could take the Volbeat episode either
way.
 
Im a misty fan all the way. Shes really funny when she is stroppy and her and ash work well together. May is just a pain
