    Salamence

    Movesets

    Dragon Dancer
    Item: Leftovers
    Preferred Nature: Adamant / Jolly
    Ability: Intimidate
    EV Spread: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
    - Dragon Dance
    - Dragon Claw
    - Earthquake
    - Rock Slide / Stone Edge / Elemental Fang

The famous, and easy Dragon Dancing set. Well known since the advance generation. Simply Dragon Dance, and sweep. Dragon Claw gets stab, and earthquake for sweeping. Rock Slide and Stone Edge can take down nasty Bulky Gyarados, and others. With only 1 dragon dance, this thing can do major damage to the opponent, and can sweep a team away, easily. Elemental Fangs also can support the beast in many ways, depending on which one you choose.

    Specsmence
    Item: Choice Specs
    Preferred Nature: Modest / Timid
    Ability: Intimidate
    EV Spread: 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    - Hydro Pump
    - Dragon Pulse
    - Draco Meteor
    - Flamethrower / Fire Blast

Hydro Pump does a lot of damage, and so does Dragon Pulse. Draco Meteor is what I like to use as a finishing move, or in emergyncies, then I switch out, and regain my special attack back. It's Specs + Draco Meteor + STAB = WOW. Flamethrower/Fire Blast is for Weavile and some others that can be a threat to this thing. It does massive damage.

    Choice Bander
    Item: Choice Band
    Preferred Nature: Adamant / Jolly
    Ability: Intimidate
    EV Spread: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
    - Earthquake
    - Dragon Claw
    - Stone Edge
    - Ice Fang

Earthquake of course for sweeping purposes. Dragon Claw is good with STAB. Stone Edge does a ton of damage against crap like gyarados, zapdos, aerodactyl, and etc. Ice Fang kills other Salamence and garchomp along with it.

    Wishmence
    Item: Leftovers
    Preferred Nature: Modest
    Ability: Intimidate
    EV Spread: 252 HP / 6 SpA / 252 SpD
    - Wish
    - Protect
    - Toxic / Dragon Pulse
    - Flamethrower / Fire Blast

Don't expect using this in a very long time. It's nearly impossible to get one of these. Their was only 1 way, and it was from a certain event out their. Anyway, wish support for the win! Protect if you have to heal yourself, rather than another team member. Toxic really messes the opponent up, while you watch them taking damage, you heal. Dragon Pulse gets STAB, and Fire attacks for fillers I guess, and takes down numerous stuff as well.

OH MY GOD IT DIDN'T DIE?
    Item: Leftovers
    Preferred Nature: Modest
    Ability: Intimidate
    EV Spread: 212 HP / 192 Def / 152 SpA
    - Dragon Pulse
    - HP Electric
    - Flamethrower / Fire Blast
    - Roost

The bulky Salamence. Dragon Pulse for Garchomp and Salamence, although it will only 2HKO either one. HP Electric for Gyarados, but again, only a 2HKO. Flamethrower for Heracross which is another 2HKO. Well, this thing is meant to be bulky, not OHKO stuff. The 212 EVs in HP allow for maximum Leftovers recovery. No speed means you won't be outspeeding any of the aforementioned pokemon, so you'll have to weaken them or attack then switch and Roost it off later.

    Overall
Salamence is literally a beast, and still is. It will do damage in both ways, physical, and special. Both ways doing extremely powerful damage. Expect to see this guy in a lot of teams.

    Counters
Counters are really any ice attack, and stone edge's. Ice Beam Blissey should do some, with Calm Mind and all. Ice Beam Cresselia does much damage when modest and has enough Special Attack EV's. Vaporeon, seeing how it will be wishing and protecting on teams, can do a mean Ice Beam on this thing. Suicune as well. Ice Fang from bulky Gyarados will do lotta damage, not sure if it will OHKO. Starmie's Ice Beam will also do a lot of damage.

x_x Too many Mences to comment on, all so standard. Die SpecsMence! And kill Fire Blast. x_x

Specsmence can also be used as an opening Pokemon along with Draco Meteor.

Draco Meteor shouldnt only be used in Emergencies and should not be used as a finish move imo.

Most people expect the opening Pokemon to setup basically. Most would think Salamence would Dragon Dance. But hit them with a Draco Meteor instead. Most Pokemon who dont resist will either faint or be badly crippled. We all know how important an opening Pokemon is especially if it is a vital one. It can make or break a battle.

Of course after such a move if their Pokemon did survive, your opponent would usually switch out. Giving you a free turn to send Salamence for a reset. Rinse and repeat.

Wow, I look forward to your future Anaylis' of the Day, very helpful.

No offense, and not to cause trouble, but I don't see a need for this specific thread. Doesn't Serebii do this exact same thing?

    I'm confused.

I wasn't trying to flame, sorry if you saw it that way, but I was just confused.

Thanks for the answers, I'll leave it at that.
