You guys should leave some comments to keep me motivated on hatching a shiny Beldum :) it's been a while now and I have over a full box of perfect 5IV Beldum (and many boxes of imperfects), but I'm still waiting on my first ever bred shiny... Since it's pseudo-legendary, it takes many many steps to hatch even with Flame Body, Hatching Power lv. 3, and biking in Lumoise City. Can't wait to hear the rewarding stories you guys have of your own MM shinies ^^

Edit: I HATCHED IT!! An hour and 40 minutes after starting this thread..

dunno if it will encourage or disencourage you but i hatched my shiny beldum on about 500ish egg

I managed my first shiny, an eevee in 42 eggs after trying honedge for over 500!

I don't mean to rub it in your face or anything, but I hatched a shiny Togepi after like 3 or 4 eggs without even realizing I was using the Masuda method until after it hatched. Shame it only had 2 perfect IVs.

A month or two earlier I actually tried to hatch a shiny Honedge and rage quit after 60 eggs. Looks like you're a little more patient than I am.

Wow, yeah it sounds like it's either a day's work or a month's worth haha I've had really good luck when chain fishing and hunting friend safaris though, just breeding... always gets the best of me

My first (and so far only) MM shiny was a Noibat that I got after 174 eggs.

I tried to get Deino, but I hatched a box's worth and stopped because of how arduous it was hatching them - they take over 10,000 eggs to hatch (not counting Flame Body or Hatching Power). After filling my party with eggs, my Hatching Power Level 3 would run out after hatching only two of them, so I couldn't be bothered to keep going.

OMG I LOVE YOU GUYS I JUST BRED A SHINY BELDUM!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE IM FREAKING

Okay, it wasn't perfect 5IV, but it was xx/31/31/31/31/31 and I don't even care! <3 so happy! ^^ and yes, Beldum takes 10455 - 10709 steps to hatch.. If I remember all my trades right and have all the offspring in my boxes, it should've been the 150th egg!

I bred one egg of every line of Pokémon starting from Bulbasaur to complete the Pokédex and didn't get a shiny until Fletchling.
Couldn't be bothered to go back and count how many eggs that was exactly, but it must have been ~300-350 of them easily.
All a matter of luck, really.

My first MM was accidental and was two Eggs. A Wooper. I was looking for a Male for breeding Mud Shot onto Skitty.

My Zangoose was probably around the 50th Egg. It was accidental, too. I actually haven't tried to specifically hatch a certain shiny. I'm thinking I might do it at some point, though, for some of my favourite 5/6IV4EM Pokemon.

    Good luck! :)

My MM shinies are Oshawott (after 2 eggs), Riolu (after 15 eggs) these were accidentally hatched, just searching for a good nature one; Froakie (after 120 eggs) and Pancham (after 520+ eggs) Basically, if I don't look for them, shiny after few eggs, but if I put effort, then it takes a life to hatch.

I'm currently working to have a shiny Meditite with goods IVs and knowing Fake out, Psycho Cut, Bullet Punch and Drain Punch as egg moves. Hatched 700 eggs with no luck, I'm going to stick here until it pops out. Would be my first MM shiny with good ivs, nature, and egg moves. Hands on!

Accidents happen right? ;D I guess people don't get too bent out of shape after an accidental shiny though. I'm currently EV training some shinies and legendaries at the moment, but I've been breeding Lillipup hoping for my second MM shiny :)

Speaking of accidents.. Shiny Wingull while EV training my Pokes. Talking on this thread gives me mad good luck.
