    If you would like to use your logo, you'll need to upload graphics in PNG format in the following pixel dimensions (you are welcome to use the provided default images):

    • 512x512px (main logo - app store/icon)
    • 310x140px (header / splash for Android app)
    • 640x960px (for iPhone splash screen)


    So we're getting ready to do the Android Mobile App and need some gfx.

    If anyone would like to submit some idea, colors, and images as noted above, we'd be very appreciative.

    Wow - I'm up for doing this. ^^ Just a few questions:

    How long do we have to design these logos? Is there a deadline?

    Also, I've heard that the iPhone 4's screen displays at a higher dpi than your average phone, which according to a quick Google search is 326dpi. Is this correct? If so, I can set Photoshop to that instead of the 72dpi that I usually use.
     
    Wait. So I could do a main app store logo and nothing else?
     
    we need all of the specified images.. app store (icon), splash page (with color scheme info) and the android logo one..

    We're asking for them all at once, but will likely build and offer the android app first (due to crap at apple app store and not having an apple computer to sign our app yet)

    I was going to get on photoshop anyways so I'll try to make some stuff. I would make a splash page but I don't know what it is...

    I clicked the link and tried to open the attachments or the psds but it says I don't have permission. I did sign up. :\

    I'll probably give this a go. I've got the templates on my system for the Apple App store.
    I'd also volunteer the use of my Mac for app signing if needed, though I'll have to figure out how first. Unfortunately I can only Submit apps to the Mac App store, not the iOS app store, as that is the limitation of being only a Mac dev, not an iOS dev.
     
    well we have a possible friend / business partner who has a iOS app store account and even a mac computer.
    We'll worry about that later, once we have a decent design everyone likes.

    No one does, I never offered a Mac App submission, was merely pointing out that I can only submit Mac Apps, not iOS apps because I'm not registered for iOS. I only hold a Mac Developers account.
     
    yeah.. no worries about the ios dev account.. we'll either get one or use a friends.

    right now, we just want ideas and images for the "look" of the apps.. it has to be PC yet also look/work well with the mobiles.
     
    so, no one wants to help out with this?

    Guess I'll have to use my non-existent GFX skills and make em huh.
     
    Sorry Steve, I got side tracked with some stuff. I'll get photoshop installed this week and send a few images over.

    Ok, Steve, here's a zip containing icons and splash screens.I includeed the PSDs in case you wanted to make minor changes.
    I pulled my design from both the Favicon and Forever's new forum style: Top Dog.

    I did start this one but i got caught up with exams and stuff ¬.¬
    Here's as far as i got, i never got to play with fonts and stuff though and i doubt i'll get too :( Also i don't know if PC has a colour scheme so i just used the one from the Favicon x]

    not too bad at all.. I like these as well. Good Job!
    However we're likely not able to swap between android / iphone specific icons.. also the icons need to be no alpha trans and should be square cornered (the app store will round them and add gloss effect)

    I like the design..
    however they're not exactly set up for the app maker we'll be using. Again not that big of a problem.. I can mod as needed.
