Yes, like 4 or 5 weeks ago i made a thread in the Team Discussions(Team Unverzed).
I waited for 12 Hours, no thread. I waited for 24 Hours no thread.
I thought something was wrong so i decided to make another one, so i read the rules trice then made the thread(-Team Heartless-).
Waited, two days came, i was like--STILL NOTHING?!
I Private Messaged Colcolstyles, after a week i did not receive any reply.
Then i PMed Giradialka--after another week still no reply!
I wonder why...then it hit my head: "I think they are inactive" i said.
SO guys or some mods there, i would like to ask....are THEY inactive or I DID not put in the requirements. Thanks goodness i saved the message in a notepad, then i re-review the message i made...nothing wrong...
If you want the message, then ask it. Not yet, i'll wait for a "Show Me".

I know for a fact they are all active and your thread probably just missed some obvious rules. Re-read the rules AND your thread over again.

    Kay then.
    Spoiler:

    Anything wrong with it?
As soon as you say YES. Aight--i'll make a new one.

Your thread was declined. The thread was posted on July 24th, 2011 at 2:53 AM EST and was was declined on the same day at 3:38 AM EST. You then posted it again, without changing anything, on July 28th, 2011 at 2:58 AM EST and was was declined (yet again) on the same day at 2:40 PM EST. Don't post what you have above again, because that won't get approved either.

    ...*fixes title*

Perhaps there is a notification plugin system available somewhere that'll send a thread creator a PM stating why a thread was declined.
*is tired of these threads popping up*

I think that would be really useful, perhaps in a similar vein of giving a deletion reason (or maybe a box like somewhere along that stage where you just put in the reason why it wasn't approved). I dunno if all sections work like that but I know from my slight time as Emulation mod that it was pretty frustrating to go back and seek out those threads that weren't approved and telling them why and stuff. Plus it would deter people from sending in several copies of the same thread, really. I think more than anything it'd take a load off of the mod's shoulders and give them some room to breathe from those members that just don't seem to read anything (or even just the fact that thread approval is on in those sections lol ;;).

I really think it's a good idea and I'd strongly support it if it is available anywhere or can be implemented somehow. :(

I was scared making this thread...then yet you said you're tired.
Thanks for the info though guys, but i should'a have received a PM if it's declined or not.
I'm gonna read the rules 10 more times then next month i'm friggin serious to make a fresh and new thread. I hope it won't be declined.

Oh, by the way--the first thread i made was Team Unverzed. I knew it was disapproved. So, the other way, i re-read the rules and made sure of my thread, that 2nd thread i made was Heartless. I did not double make it. The second one was new, PC is just a bit glitchy.

Can't say I disagree with you on the bolded, but that's ultimately up to the moderator to decide. Despite my belief that it should be their responsibility, Emulation is such an approval-oriented board that it sometimes would be rather difficult for them to focus on sending every single person an PM explaining why their thread was declined, which is why I think making it automatic would be much better. A lot of threads get posted in there in one day, after all... Sometimes they could intend to, but forget. Sometimes they could have no intention at all to send it.

I do agree that users should be notified when they're threads don't get approved, but some mods would disagree with that. So it depends on the mod, but as of right now we have nothing stating that they have to tell you. Some of them just consider it obvious, 'if your thread is there within a day or two then it made it, if it's not there then re-read the rules'.

I'd actually like to see something done about that, if it's at all possible.. I mean, something that would be automatic, so that mods wouldn't have to keep sending out 'declined' PMs.

Some of them thread makers are totally nonsense and meaningless.
The least of it, they should make a warning if they make meaningless and stupid threads or an infraction for not following the rules. Say--who's with me?

    EDIT:
Just for the cause of not having too much thread creating and scaring other people unless they don't know the rules yet.
