Money Issue

Do you really need any of that stuff. ._. I'd at least scale back what you want (just, like, get a DS and one of HeartGold or SoulSilver - that must be less than half what you want, off the top of my head), and then either get a job, save any allowance you get or wait for your birthday to come about.

So they aren't necessary, and yet you "need" them? Here's a novel idea - save some money for your future.

Well some times we gotta deprive ourselves from certain things. Like i notice most of the time that when you wait a little you can get it cheaper. But it being pokemon heart gold i doubt that will happen. One thing would be to pre order the game and pay it by parts before the release date. Another would be to trade in your old video games (not that old) for credit at your local game shop and see if you can at least get something close to that of the video game price.

Cleaning grout shouldn't be that bad. If you really want to have nice things you gotta work for it. A little blood and sweat wont kill you.

Also i dunno if condos or shops have them over there but like ive seen people holding and spinning signs outside..i dunno its kinda funny.

Babysit. Take care of somebody's pet when they go on vacation. Maybe offer to do chores for someone you know, like cleaning the house.

Well the title says part of my issue, I am currently having a money issue. I need about $300.00 for luxury items. Luckily, the only one I really need at the moment is only $80.00. But I have no money but a $20.00 gift card to Wal Mart.

What is something that I could do at only the age 14? I live in Las Vegas so we don't have much odd jobs like lawn mowing or snow plowing. I have been think about doing over the counter jobs at my local game store. But I have no idea what to do right now. Help please?
Wow, you are really responsible! I'm 14, and the only things I use my money on is candy, and I get all of my money from mom and dad....The rest i want they buy for me...(Unless it's unreasonable. XD)

Oh, and poster number 1? he's 14! He can't gamble! XD

Do yardwork for people. Arizona is just like Nevada, just find little oddball jobs to do. It's not too hard, you just have to find the initiative/motivation to do it.

Hun you're 14. You can't work at most places til you're 16 and that includes video game stores. Most Video Game Stores [seeing as I'm in the process of getting a job at one] require you to be 18 because selling a game = pawning and you have to be 18 to do that. Until you're 18 you can't pawn a thing, you'll need to take a parent with you.

Best way to earn money I've found is to collect change. Do the laundry for your parents and clean out the pockets. Pick up pennies off the street/off the floors in your house.

If you get any sort of allowance, budget part of it until you can get what you want.

[Say if you get 20, keep 10 put 10 away]

The best way to get something expensive quickly is to limit what you already take in. Check your expensives and see if you can cut something for awhile. :3

Hmm well I don't know if this is of any help, but if you have any little league teams in the area you could work as an umpire. Atleast where I live as long as your 14 or older you can work as an umpire for little league teams in your town. I think they get 40 dollars for every game.
