here you can post everything you want about your Monotype challenges! Be it in Ruby, Emerald, FireRed, Platinum or even the infamous Green!
Goals:
~to give others tips if they are ever planning to make a monotype challenges.
~to let others see the progress we are making.
~to help others in their problems.

I am going to do the water pokemon run, <since it is my first time to do this kind of thing, and i reckon Water type will be the easiest of all types>.

UPDATES: The road to the Dex
~starter with a boy hero named "Torrent and rival named Rave"
~got the potion from the PC
~got a Squirtle named "w3cannon".
~defeated Rave
~got the potion from the nice guy., and Oak's parcel from the shop master.
~got the pokedex and grinded Route 1.

you should stray away the traditional battling. try a new style. this is my first one though. If you ever need help, just PM me.

Sorry for the double post, but this is for the updates.

Update:
~grinded Route 1 again and route 22 until Squirtle leveled up to 15.
~defeated Rave.
~reached Viridian forest and evolved w3cannon.
~defeated Brock and got the Boulder Badge.
~avoided all avoidable trainers.
~bought the Magicarp.
~grinded Mt. Moon until both pokemon is level 25.
~exit Mt. Moon and taught Mega Punch to w3cannon.
