3rd Gen Monotype Challenge - Kanto

Bellsprout is exclusive to Leaf Green, and is pretty common, able to be found on many different routes.
 
Can I participate please?
What types are currently available?

EDIT: I just realised multiple people can do each type, so in that case I will be using Electric.

I have a quick question here. After we get through Diglett's Cave, are we still allowed to catch pokemon? Or wast the before digletts cave thing like for those who chose electric for example and had to get an electric pokemon?

no, you just had to get the first before, you can still catch after, its just you had to have the first electric beforehand.

Totally owned the first Gym.
Evolved Bulbasaur to Ivysaur
Got Running Shoes
Evolved Weedle to Kakuna, then to Beedrill
Caught Nidoran (Male)

Current Team:

lol thats awesome. i have a suggestion for future team members: Zubat/Golbat, Tentacool/Tentacruel, Gastly - Gengar

that would make your team well-rounded, with all the types that posion-tyopes are kanto paired with, making it very diverse, and the team members in general rock as well! XD this makes me want to do Posion! and i think i just might! or normal...AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was planning on getting those, but I might just catch other Poison-types for no real reason. I've gotten rather fond of them lately.

Also, I'd probably switch out my Beedrill for a Venomoth. Beedrill's Bug-type moves in FR/LG aren't all that powerful, and Venomoth can learn Silver Wind, which is stronger than both of Beedrill's Bug moves.

Sorry I'm not on the thread much, I seem to have mis-placed my DS.
I'll find it eventually, but obviously, I won't be able to do much as I have no way of playing the game >.<
I'm trying to find something that lets me build a team and tells me their type advantages and weaknesses, could anybody post me a link so I can do something useful towards my challenge while I cannot play?
 
Hmm, I guess I'll take a whack at this ^^.
I'll go with electric.
And start on Fire Red ^^.
