Monotype teams impossible for competetive?

I had an idea that I'd really like to use, and it is to create an all steel team. It would look something like:

Lucario
Empoleon
Heatran
Scizor
Bronzong
Skarmory

However, I fail to see how to beat an infernape. There are a few other worries, but that is the main factor.

I thought about maybe sending out a Lucario With Extreme speed at 252 Att EV and 252 Speed w/ Jolly Nature, but i dont think ES will OHKO Infernape, will it?

So, Do you think it is impossible to have a monotype team without getting easily stopped?

Nope its impossible to run a mono team. They are weak to everything.

Btw ES wont KO Infernape, that and more and more Infernapes are packing Mach Punch which will go before Lucario due to its higher speed and do massive damage, around 80%.

Hmm, Empoleon is the closest thing you have to countering Infernape.

A agility Empoleon with Aqua Jet could do the job, or a sword dance set.

Scarf Heatran could work but risky

Empoleon is a revenge killer, not a counter.

Though Aqua Jet prolly wont kill, since i mean Life Orb Swords Dance Empoleon cant even OHKO Hasty Gengar with it lmao.

Bronzong could be used as a nape counter, as long as you use Heatproof.
It gives you a surprise value on the opponent. but leaves you at the mercy of the many EQ users in OU

Infernape still 2hko's Heatproof Zong with Fire Blast. -.-

Tl;dr steel types cant deal with ape well at all lol
