Those of you who play the PMD series will know of these awful events known has as a monster house.

They occur randomly throughout dungeons, you can tell if one is going to happen because the amount of gummies/Money/Wonder tiles in that room increases to a lot.

    Anyway,

How do you deal with these monster houses?

Do you like the concept of them?

I deal with them whole room moves, or attacks that hit Pokemon within a 9-tile range, like Thunderbolt, Dark Pulse, Bug Buzz, or moves like Blizzard, Discharge and Earthquake.

I like the concept of them because the EXP you receive from them is quite rewarding. Although there's always one Pokemon with agility... |:<

Oh hell, I hate monster houses. I'm not very good or familiar with the mechanics of Mystery Dungeon, so I just attack as much as I can and hopefully win, or at least beat a lot of my enemies until I have enough room to heal easier. I guess the concept is alright, but I'd rather they didn't exist, since I can't really handle them well.

Monster Houses are annoying, but full room attacks by a high lvl. makes them quite easy. I think they're a good mechanic - it keeps you on your toes and gives you a few hints (e.g lots of items, lots of Wonder Tiles) if it's a Monster House or not. One thing I can't stand about them is when the staircase is located inside a monster house. That's just unfair.

Moves that deal damage to everyone. If me or non of my partners have any moves like that or even hit more than one Pokemon, then I use a Warped Orb followed by a RollCall Orb

When I want my Pokemon to level up

Hows the Stairs unfair. Its conveinient to me. If you dont want to deal with'em, use a Foe Fear Orb. What I love the most is when I get to the next floor, and I appear in a Monster House. The Music is awesome
I get it done by getting my Partner( Its always Totodile) to fight with me. To me, 2 against 20 is a fair fight....with no items.
But to ppl who hate the MH, if a pkmn wants to join the team in a MH, let it. Its the same level.

Not everyone has a Foe Fear Orb in their inventory.

I can't say I hate monster houses since they are quite rewarding if you can get through them, but one the other hand I can't say that I love them. I hate it when it happens right near the stairs though and then you get wiped out. Escpecially when a foe knows a room-wide range super effective move or agility. I also ahave to say though the music is pretty groovy; oh and that I can get some scrumptious gummies. 8D

    I love them! :D
    They're so awesome :D
Or at least I love them after the storyline is done and I don't have to care about my partner :D 'Cause I can pwn them only with Lucario's Dark Pulse.
But throughout the storyline I'm killing them with Foe-Hold, Petrify and other orbs =D
The reason why I love them is because they're giving lots of exps and there are so many yummy gummies! :D
But I hate the concept of having tons of traps there... Especially Grimer traps...

I hate hate hate monster houses. They always occur right when I am about to exit or right when I am about to enter an important room, and most of the time I lose them. I usually try to use moves that damage everyone in a wide range.

They are soooo annoying!! especially when you hit a few in a row! I like them when i'm trying to level up, but when you're escorting someone, it's hell.... I usually just get the problem ones out of the way first~

How do you deal with these monster houses?
Attack, use orbs, and attack. XD I use tons of Petrify Orbs. Just to move a little into the room more to let my other team members join in the fight. =x That, or I just walk to the stairs (if there is one).
Do you like the concept of them?
Actually, yeah, I do! You get lots of EXP points, and plus, it gives a little surprises while you're exploring. =]

I like them in theory, but they always end up wasting all my Oran Berries, Sitrus Berries, and Apples, which I never seem to bring enough of. :'(
