[Other] More backsprite Frames

In the old Thread:
https://www.pokecommunity.com/threads/344058
I wanted to use hex to change the player's sprites. But now I want to make it easy.
In some Ruby and Emerald hacks, I seen the player have more frames like FR/LG. In R/S/E Brendan and May have 3 frames for their backsprites. In FR/LG Red and Leaf have 4 frames for their backsprites. My question is how do I have the player's backsprites in Emerald have a 4th Frame?

I don't think they have more frames. I could be wrong though.
But r/s/e have 4 frames already. afaik. You just have to expand the area you look at when editing the backsprites.
Again I could be wrong, but thats how I remember it when I was editing backsprites.

Thanks for replying. But I meant was in the throwing animation. The Brendan, May, Wally, and Steven have 3 frames in throwing a pokeball but Red and Leaf have 4 frames. I was thinking of expanding Brendan and May to have 4 frames or from your example 5 frames.
If my explanation do not make any sense, use NSE open navigate Image: D66D80 (If you know a better offset please tell me.)
Again examples of that are Light Platinum hack of Ruby and Crystal Dust hack of Emerald.

That is the throwing animation......
Anyways you really need that one extra frame?

Also Light Platinum doesnt use 5 frames just 4.
Spoiler:

And after looking at the frame table, there doesnt seem to be anyway of the game having an index for each frame so it just loads the first 4 frames it needs. Now don't go quoting me on this, but in theory it would seem possible to expand that table and maybe find what ever limiter that determines the amount of frames it shows. You would have to change the animation speed of the throw so as to not go into battle before it's over.

That sounds like a great theory, and for that one frame, yes and no. I just wanted to figure out how to add more... I remember seeing a discussion about that on my old thread.
Edit:
Using TMA I found the back sprites in Crystal Dust and their in the order similar to FR/LG but were are the 5th frames located?

There isnt a 5th frame. Like I said they only use 4. Unless I'm horribly wrong and they somehow managed to get an extra frame.

Look, CrystalDust DOES use 5 Frames... Sadly, I can't find the extra frame... look, just ask Diegoisawesome!
