4th Gen More=Less in the Pokeworld?

I've never heard of a pokemon with a 0 IV. What pokemon are you referring to, RubberBandMan?

Take a Look at Hippos site there it tells you about a Pokemon with a 0 IV. I read that whole thing and I still dont understand this whole "IV" thing. Well I know that its bassicly your stats, such as Attack, Defense, and all that jazz. But how does it go with Breeding?

Well from what i understand, you can breed pokemon with better IVs or something. I don't understand it fully myself, and i'm really sleepy. Maybe tomorrow i'll understand, but right now i just can't do all the math involved, or go hunt for a perfect IV pokemon.

Oh, didn't think you could get a 0. That just makes it worse really...

Think of it like this, you would have 100 attack on a poke. If you had an IV of 0, you would have 69 attack. If your IV was 31, you would have 100 attack. Lowe IVs take off of stats.

Pokemon can receive IVs from thier parents. Its like 25% each parent's IV and 50% random, or something. I'm not sure on the numbers exactly.

And good luck, a pokemon with perfect IVs is 1 in about 8 million.
I did some math... If its 1/32 of having ONE perfect IV, having SIX would but you at a 1/32^6 chance. Or about 1 in 1,073,741,824. Dang. Thats depressing.

A statue stands in a shaded place,
An angel girl with an upturned face,
Her name is written on a polished rock,
A broken heart that the world forgot,

Ugh, I can see it now. Shops. People selling Shiney Pokemon over Wifi for money, Items, and other Pokemon. It would be catastrophe. What's the point of having a new Pokemon Pearl and then trading in a LV.100 Raquaza and whip through the Gyms? None.

And I've never really battled compeditively, but I'd like a Pokemon with perfect IVs.

Well Nintendo put shiny Pokemon in the game for a reason. They knew some people would like the shiny pokes, and they would be rare, so for people who don't have much poke cash, they could just go shiny hunting. Also maybe they put it in there because most people have fav pokes, and they would love to see their fav poke being all shiny, and stuff. I definitely would love a shiny Absol, if it had perfect IV's in a couple of places i would pay about half a million poke dollars for it.

thats true but it takes a long timejust to find a shiny Pokemon and most people give up on it like me for example

:t354:~*!*~Queen Boo~*!*~

But then there are shiny hunter who hunt for it. Some people like it better than searching for rare pokes. O_o But me i just like doing it in my spare time, hunting for shines does make time pass. But my question still isn't answered maybe i should have added a poll. I want to know if all of you guys would get your fav pokes if they were shiny, but the seller had it for a pretty penny? And what about other pokes? What about rare shines? And shines with good IV stats? I need answers.
