    my opinions:
    -heal ball is weird
-chansey's and roselia's baby forms look very creative to me
-that steel/dragon pokemon is not what i expected to look like- i wanted it to look cool, like rayquaza

    let's see:
    venus trappers: masukippa - victreebel
    ceratopsians: tatetopusu - aron
    bagworms: minomucchi - pineco

I absolutely love Masukippa! *is a sucker for flytraps* Plus it looks like a funny pokemon.

Dinosaur pokemon = coolest. I love dinosaurs, so pokemon dinosaurs are definitely at the top of my list (or at least somewhere near it).

I really like all of the new pokemon so far. (Though the prevos are getting a bit much ^^;) Lookin' forward to seein' more!!

I want to get Zugaidosu, but I may get Pearl for some reason, I dont know yet..Im confused beyond all belief, but I may get Pearl still. The triceratops one looks super duper fine..The eyes in the art of Zugaidosu looks odd though.

i also agree that the pre-evos and evos are a little much, but considering what i read at bulbagarden, i'm figuring this is what the game will be mainly about:

"I want to create a 'compilation' on the Nintendo DS out of all the Pokémon titles released so far," Ishihara said. "Compared to the Red and Green versions, there are a greater number of Pokémon appearing in these new titles, so I want people to be able to collect them all. Red and Green had 151 Pokémon, while in Gold and Silver 100 more were added, and following that, Ruby and Sapphire ended up with more than 380 different Pokémon. This time I'm planning to include even more Pokémon in these new titles. Starting out with new Pokémon, you'll be able to give old Pokémon a variety of evolutions by using the wireless link feature a lot."

all i can say is nintendo are really running out of ideas now..

I'm thinking that both fossils should have been both Rock or Rock/Steel. I like that Venus fly trap, very creative.

It was later reported that Zugaidosu is exclusive to Diamond and Tatetopusu is exclusive to Pearl or visa-verca, but they are version exclusive.

But anyways...YAY! I agree that the pre-evo's are getting old, but the other new one's shown are pretty cool...I want Zugaidosu!!

I like Korinku along with Pachirisu (The squirrel from a month ago). But I think, as with R/S/E, they're putting way to many electric pkmn in and barely any Fire types in. (Or any good looking fire types, that is)

wow, another Roselia evo? That means it has gone from only one evo to 3 evos in one game! Roselia fans are probably going nuts.

I was just thinking the same thing

My main gripe (which isn't even that big of one anyways) about this new batch of pokemon is the severe lack of any unique type combinations. I mean - yet another pure electric, more normals, another grass/poison pokemon? So on and so forth. At least seeing that Dialga had with its unique type combo gave me a little bit of happiness in that department.

Overall, though...I'm satisfied with how these new pokemon look. My favorites are the two dinosaurs (especially zugaidos), minomucchi...and bippa, who want I to take and hug, since it's so cute. ^^; Sorta "meh" about the pre-evos, but then again I've not been too thrilled with any of the pre-evos shown.

I can't wait to see what the rest of D/P is actually like, now. :>

Diaruga looks great, I like that he has a different typing. I like Korinku too, but I have a feeling he might not be very strong. Zugaidosu is bound to have an awesome evo though, so I'm going to be getting Diamond. :) The prevos and the new normal look dumb though...

maybe i'm the only one who likes the pre-evos. :| o well :P

i guess i'm the only one who also doesn't like diaruga and parukia. :P moving on...

I think the new Pokemon are pretty cool. There are some that I don't like, but there are more that I do like. My favorites would easily be the dinosaurs, especially Zugaidosu. I also really like Diaruga.

Palkia reminds me of a kingdra they are both Water/Dragon type. That is good type combination. There are fewer weaknesses.
However the fossil pokemon Tatetopusu, which is a rock/steel type.
That has 4x the weakness against fighting and ground types. I don't really like this pokemon.

Parukia doesn't look like a Water type. It looks only like a Steel/Dragon type just like the other one. Its just like Gyarados being a Flying/Water type and it should be a Water/Dragon just like Kingdra

the only reason parukia is water i believe is because it is a weirdo-seabird.
and it doesn't even look like one.

its legs remind me of an oyster/clam, however.

yah when it was confirmed that it was water/dragon, i wasn't so into that. kingra is an awesome pokemon and all, but at least it looks water/dragon. i had figured that because of the pearls on it, it was psychic/dragon. but then again, gamefreak probably figured that since it would make it weak against dariuga, the pearls could also indicate being a water type. it really depends on how you think about it... pearls are sea rocks, but there are some psychic pokemon that exist that have pearls.

it's obvious that they'd be dragon types, but that's just too many dragon legendaries.
