5th Gen More simple Pokémon = better?

Simple Pokemon are popular since they bring nostalgia to the teenagers who played Red/Blue as a kid. Some of them appriciate the complex designs to the Pokemon, while some hate the complex Pokemon either for having too many details in the wrong places or it's basically ruining their childhood.

Although I'd like to see a dolphin Pokemon (not counting Kyogre, that was an orca!) sometime :D

lot's of gen 1 pokemon have horn's actually, Lapras, Seaking,ect. Wow that is honestly a lot of horns...
 
I HATE it when people say RSE AND DPPt werent as liked. DIamond and Pearl were the second best selling pokemon games. Ever. Ruby and Sapphire were JUST under DP.

Anyways, yes, I do wish we had some more simple Pokemon. However, there are some pokemon that are too simple. Persian is simply a mountain lion with a gym on its head. Muk is literally a pile of muck with a face. And an arm.

a orca is a dolphin. it is part of the oceanic dolphin family
 
uhhmm i've been playing since R/B/Y and i can honestly say that
Hoenn and Sinnoh are far much more fun to play than the Original Kanto & Johto Regions

but each game has it's own points of Funness that can't top the other, i guess.

but Anyway, i have seen very complex designs (Ononokusu) as well as very simple designs(Minezumi)
so no need to worry about "Simple" looking ones =) they're in there

I hate it when people say that too. I mean when they announce the fifth gen they actually mentioned how good DPPt sold internationally and how they wanted to top those games with BW in sales...

An orca is a type of dolphin actually it's closet relative is the Irrawaddy dolphin...

Example: Angry Otter. Contemptuous Fish. Green Pillow.

Okay, maybe not the last one.

Fun factor just increased at least 15%. I mean, WHO DOESN"T?! want to play as an angry otter. If I were an angry otter, I'd just ANNIHILATE other pokemon.

They actually made an angry mouse. They called it the watchmouse or something, but everyone knows it's just a mouse that didn't get enough sleep and has anger problems.

Dude, only EVERYBODY knows dolphins don't attack with sound. They attack with their fins man! They are the boxers of the sea. Man, if I were a dolphin....I'd so hold like dolphin boxing tournaments and stuff. Then I'd be like POW, POW. Yeah, you want some more, POW, POW. Man, Dolphins are AWESOME.
 
I think I am agree with the title because the simple game and the Pokemon would be great and everybody love it also. I think they should change the theme and the game design to make the simple one.

it doesn't matter if they are related or not. The point is there should be a dolphin pokemon, which isn't some killer whale/orca that can control rain.
Although simple is good, you don't really want to have similar pokemon. Mixing around is always a good idea. Gives people a wider range of pokemon to choose from.
 
Wow my comment from "What animals should there be" really spread to every other thread arguing what Kyogre is and that we need another Dolphin... Just argue about it in the original topic... Yes Kyogre is a Orca/Killer Whale which are Dolphins but he is based on a Leviathan from Jewish Mythology
 
i like most of the new pokemon, there are few pokemon i hate. its nice to have pokemon resembling animals, but pokemon is a made up, fantasy universe, so its also nice to have complex creatures that dont look like animals
