More Spam Attacks!?

Have you guys noticed PC has been attacked by spammers more often in these past few days, I wonder if it's because of the existence of "The Unknown Dungeon" and they want to get recorded in it.

well, all the spammers in the past few days have been the same person, just using a proxy server. but PC's stopped him/her so far, so there's really nothing to worry about. o.o

yeah, but it's getting rather annoying for both the members and the staff, don't you think so? I wonder why he's so uptight about spamming up PC, and he must have ALOT of free time to attempt to spam up PC.

True, true. Your best bet is to simply ignore it and not make these kind of threads, that's giving them attention and provoking them.

well, usually spammers have ADD or impulse control problems, that kind of stuff... but in my opinion, there's nothing to be that annoyed about, unless you're staff. *shrugs*
EDIT: ^Ty's right. what they want is attention, and that's what we're giving them now.

let him get banned over and over again, it's his descision but sooner or later he'll realize that nothing will be achieved by doing so.

well if it's credit that they want, why not make the "Bad, Very Bad!" forum invisible to guests?

The staff have been discussing this matter. We are thinking about having the Unknown Dungeon invisible to members, so there won't be a need for spammers to get threads into a forum that no longer exists. ^.^

A few people had said to have it invisible in the thread about it.A place to put all the locked threads and spam threads on PC.

Like Kelsey said, the staff are discussing this issue. It'll be sorted soon. And please, don't make threads like these. It's just drawing attention to the spammer, like they wanted.

Yes I agree. Making a thread about this will only make matters worse. The spammer might just look at this thread anc continue to spam. But I am sure the staff are trying to sort it out. But I do agree, we have had quite a bit of spamming these past few days. But I think most of the spammers are the same person creating multiple accounts and using different computers.

It generally tends to be the same repete spammer over and over again, but we have great mods here that take care of the spam just as fast as it comes in. So there isn't any need to worry, and as said the Dungeon is being discussed by staff already. Tra~La~La~La~La *locked*
