More than 3 movies for DPP?

    Personally, I believe and hope that they will have more than 3 movies based in Sinnoh. I mean, look.

    Pokemon Heros has Latios and Latias which are Gen III pokemon.

    Destiny Deoxys had Munchlax which is a Gen IV pokemon.

    Lucario and the Mystery of Mew is a Gen III movie, but it has a main character which is a Gen IV pokemon. It also introduced Bonsly, Mime Jr. and Weavile.

    Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea is also a Gen III movie, which introduced 4 Gen IV pokemon, Manaphy, Mantyke, Buizel and Chatot.

    From this, I can say that all 3 movies (pretty safe bet that 12th movie with not introduce any Gen V pokemon, yet I could be wrong) have not got a Gen V pokemon, meaning that we will have atleast two or more movies featured in Sinnoh, which will introduce us to Gen V.

    They have done it before, why not do it again?
    Please tell me if any of my information is wrong.
     
    You have a point. It's possible... Although Movie 12 looks like it might be the last DP movie before the next Gen starts. It's still possible to have another 4th Gen. movie introducing new Pokemon, but with the way this trilogy might end, I don't know. Ho-oh wasn't in a movie, unless you count openings. That's an option for them, if they want to expand on it. It's all up to the writers, though. They can do whatever they like*, and they probably will.

    I really don't think that they are going to start the 5th gen right after season 12. It's seems pretty sudden and since season 12 will probably end with the Sinnoh League, I think they will have a season or two in the battle zone.

    I know, some people have to go and ruin it by watching story board interviews and stuff. You never know... what... might... happen...
     
    I want Dawn to stick around longer, and you are right, season 12 will be the sinnoh leauge and thenwe still have the battle park/frointer to go. & Heatran still can be shown.
     
    Actually it has been confirmed that the 12th movie will be the LAST DPP movie, so if they do not introduce a 5th gen pokemon tin this movie, then it'll end up showing up after the Sinnoh League sometime...but it would have been gr8 if we had more...
     
    I believe that Dawn will last longer than May, so that means the Battle Zone (presuming they make a series around it) should last pretty long. Definitely longer than the Symbols one after Hoenn (forgot what it's called). This gives the writers a chance to make at least one more movie and stick it in the middle of the Battle Zone series. That way they can introduce a Gen V Pokemon during Gen IV, but still close enough to the start of the Gen V series.

    P.S. - I know I'm not supposed to be here, but I just thought I'd give my two cents on this topic. =)

    Really??!! Oh no, if you don't mind me asking, do you have a link or something so that I can see this for my own eyes?

    & I agree with Kevin. Have one more movie and put in it the Battle Zone, have some Gen V pokemon in it and the main star should be Heatran (as he lives in Stark Mountain.)
     
    He is a bit wrong. Its actually the last part of the trilogy. Sinnoh should have at least minimum 2-3 more movies. And this is actually the ideal movie to show off the 5th gen. Dont forget about that notch ear pichu that could be a hint that the 5th gen would have more gender differences or possible region differences or hell maybe it is some kind of ditto thing. Anything is actually open with this movie at the current time but it is hinting at a lot of stuff.

    Actually, that gives me an idea.
    They could make a movie about Heatran being captured by Team Galactic, which causes Stark Mountain to "erupt" (if you can call it that). They could throw it in the middle of the Battle Zone Arc and make Ash have to save Heatran from Team Galactic, as well as stop the entire Battle Zone from being destroyed by the lava.

    Regigigas could make an appearance as well, seeing as he's the continent Pokemon thing, he could try and help Ash save Heatran. This could open up the doors for Regirock/steel/ice to appear and work together to help as well.
    Eh... just an idea. =)
     
    NO actually hetran should be saved for the frontier arc if they have one. And its a good place to reveal pluto and finish up the galactic story.
     
    Movie 12 is last movie of the trilogy of Dialga, Palkia and Giratina. At the current speed there should be enough room for at least 1 more before Pokemon Diamand & Pearl & Platinum if there is a arc similair to the Orange League or the Kanto Battle Frontier.

    Personally I don't mind if Hikari is going to stick around a bit longer.

    I'm not sure they are gonna have a fronteir arc. Even if it is going to be in Platinum, Ash kind of already beat the Battel Fronteir.
     
    The notched-ear Pichu kinda is Generatin V, or maybe the GSDS Remake we've all been hoping for.
    Either way, I wouldn't be surprised, and it would be nice, having some more Sinnoh Movies shown to all.

    I hope they make those remakes to... I to hope that there will be more Sinnoh Movies.

I say with this, that the next SINNOH BASED movie will be off of the NEW battle frontier series, OR off of the new series while ash challenges the Sinnoh Elite...that's as well possible...

    I never thought of it, but that notch eared pichu may actually be a sign of a GSC remake for the DS...good thinking!

    Its very possible that they could introduce a Gen V pokemon. I mean they showed us Notched Ear, which could very well be a new gender difference. So I mean, they could very well give us a new one. I mean we are coming to the tail end of Sinnoh. By the time the movie is out, Ash will have at least seven (if not more and competes in the leage) badges. I mean if they are going to introduce the new generation, they might as well start now.

    yeah actually that's kind of hard to believe considerin that the 12th movie isnt evn out in japan yet
