This is sort of out there for a kids show, but what do you think the odds are that a pokemon movie will show the discovery of another world with pokemon on it?

The thing that makes me say this is that I was watching pokemon 2000 the other day, and the tablet that the collector was reading off of said (in part): "the world on which they clash" and "that world will be destroyed". To me, this suggests that in the pokemon world, there are other planets with pokemon.

Not to mention Clefairy, which came from space (supposedly) and the meteor being the thing that makes them evolve.

Just a thought (and in case you were wondering, no, I do not think pokemon are real and this new world will really be our world).

hmm its possible it would be a good way for the games to stay alive I mean 3 regions each pretty big and new pokemon are discovered every 2-3 years. you start thinking how the hell big is that planet? so they could expand onto a whole new planet with all new pokes and maybe clefairy it is a interesting thought

Don't forget that Deoxys is an alien too. I wouldn't mind seeing stuff to that effect, but I don't think it will be in the next movie. The generation having some more legendaries and plots around that would be interesting though.

Well... Arceus made the pokemon world... do you think Arceus made other worlds too?

Well giratina and palkia and dialga came from a altered dimension that counts as a world doesnt it?

Well Clefairy and Deoxys are definetely aliens and I think Solrock and Lunatone are as well. To answer your question JaggedMan, Arceus created the whole universe in the Pokemon franchise. It is also my belief that the Mystery Dungeon is set on a different world or in the same world as the Pokemon world but in a parellel dimension but I don't think Mystery Dungeon and the main series of games are in the same canon.

That's so true. In PMD, they say, "This is the portal to the world of Pokemon!" which is a world where no humans can exist. Although, in EoS...
    Spoiler:

Perhaps, in the past, Pokemon were more civilised and had their own community. And then humans barged in and made them our slaves. It's all canon, but PMD is in the distant past.

I think that would be a really cool approach to newer pokemon games, like completly new species of pokemon and such, ofcourse they could still bring in alot of the pokemon from older generations and explain it as (As we move there more, we bring more pokemon with us).

The prospect of a new Pokemon world somewhere in the franchise's universe does appeal to the mind. I would enjoy a game where you take a spaceship to another planet, possibly from Mosdeep since it has the closest thing to NASA. I'm not looking so much for an "alien" world with symbiotic beings like Deoxys that inhabit it, but more of another planet where Pokemon live and some form of human-life is also present. Perhaps a world with people of different sub-species (Trolls, Elves, Faieries, etc.) to humans. Or, possibly a planet with a colony of humans who were transported there in the past by an unknown Pokemon.

    The possibilities are endless.

Porygon/2/-Z, Mewtwo and Electrode/Voltorb rip a hole in your theory. The Decrepit Lab however, proves that humans once entered the alternate pokémon world, which could mean that Porygon, Mewtwo, and Electrode could have entered through there, marooned onto this strange world by their creators. (though it still doesn't explain where Porygon got the Up-Grade/Dubious Disk from).

The world that Deoxys and Staryu(?) came from could be a possiblity, though.

I think there's a huge chance for something like this to happen. I mean, the creators are not planning to end pokemon soon (fat chance!) because they're making all new sorts of stuff for the games and the anime. Like, for example, they already have this 5th Generation pokemon and the new Heartgold and Soulsilver from the games which gives me the idea that the creators are still planning to extend pokemon no matter what it takes. Whether it is for profit or just to keep on making us HAPPEH.

..hmm, come to think of it, they might combine all the legendary pokemon to battle the pokemon from the other world. I suggest they make a conflict between the two dimensions then make a history out of it. Oooh *_*
