-Slow Surfing
-Slow Battles
-How chunky the screens are, i.e. the battle screen (on SoulSilver it's all curved, even Platinum looks outdated)
-Lack of fire-types, and overall unobtainability of pokemon that had new evolutions.
-Lack of touchscreen features.
-Lack of good 3-D graphics
-How everything goes blurry when you're on your bike, or actually, even when you run.
That's why the only reason I play it is to get a starter, and because it doesn't take long to get to Oreburgh, where I can trade over fossils to be revived long before I can get it done in SoulSilver.
