Your username in some fashion, either with a special greet or just a general "Welcome", and also the date you last visited. Username will obviously stay. Also probably going to display your avatar. Should the "last visited" thing stay? Is it relevant?

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the little tagline things like "You'd better Bayleef it, Abble Pie." I look at them and think "Eh...". I'd personally rather just have it say my username and last visit. toggle?

The "Me" menu/username menu, which has... a shit load of stuff in it. Edit Avatar, Edit Profile, etc. This is probably going to remain in some fashion, and be expanded to include a lot more of what's on the "Dashboard"/main screen of the user control panel. Anything in particular you want to add or change or remove?
I just want that to also show "Edit Details", because that's the one I use out of my UCP the most and it's legitimately baffling to me how that never made it in.

That's all I really have an opinion on out of the listed things but hey thought I'd give my two cents anyways because why not.

Well shit now I feel stupid. Now I'm more baffled by the fact that I missed something that should have been so obvious. Perhaps change "Edit Profile" to "Edit Details" for the sake of matching the actual UCP section?

Good idea, I think that's a bit confusing too. I'll go fix it.

edit: ooooooooor not. It's edited in several individual styles and I don't have the time to go through and modify them all right now, haha.

Avatar + Username sounds fine to me.

Notifications and Messages menus. Do they need to have the full text "Notifications" and "Messages", or would icons be clear enough?

I would prefer the words, yes.

Now, here's what I'm really interested in hearing. Our navbar. Right now it has "Live", "Battle", "Blogs", "More", "Search", and "Help." Which of these is most useful to you, what can be removed?

That's probably it?... Personally I don't use Live or Battle anyway haha.

In the new interface, there's a lot more focus on main sections such as Live Chat, Blogs, and Battle Server, and they'll get a lot more real estate on the index. I'm questioning if we need to keep them as navigational links across all pages. Is this necessary? It feels cluttered to me.

I'm not sure what this means ): But yeah, no need to repeat anything.

"Help" - how important is this? I want to implement some in-line help things across the community. Instead of a dropdown with links to rules and other bull♥♥♥♥, I was thinking it could contextually know where you are and give you a relevant popover of info. So if you're on the index, show you help files for the index. If you're viewing a thread, show you help files for a thread.

On the skin I use it says 'Rules/FAQ' as two links. I like that. Otherwise I'm not sure help is actually needed. vvv

But then I realized that might be a bit overkill. There's a new on boarding process for when you first register that gives you the basics, but do we really need to have a help menu across every screen...?

You could probably get rid of the whole "More" tab. Most of it can be easily accessed by scrolling to the bottom of the index, and I doubt too many people really need to check the Member's List or Who's Online that often. Also, until I looked today I kind of forgot PokeCommunity Draw was a thing until I saw it on the list. It seems to be near-dead for the most part (one user just spammed a bunch of comments a week ago but that's it), so why bother with it keeping it there (or maybe at all)?

I actually don't mind having the links on the navbar for these on every page. It's just a tiny bit convenient to be able to go to any of them while reading any random page. On that note, I would like the links to open in new tabs like most other links, if that's possible, because I'd like to be able to open the battle server while also keeping my current page open.

I'm sure I'll add more when I can think of it.
