Id have to say its Ditto. Most people I know think its useless, but if used right its awesome.

Have you ever even been on NetBattle? Ditto is probably most worthless piece of pie you've ever seen, in battle anyways. It wastes an entire turn transforming into something, and by then it probably has less than half of its HP left, due to its icky stats.

I agree with Weezing, Jynx, Magmar and Electabuzz are underrated. They are actually awesome Pokemon if you train them up properly, I'm pretty sure you can take on the Elite four with just those three XP

Elite Four?! The Elite Four, and pretty much everyone else in any Pokemon game are a piece of cake.

Also, Weezing isn't underated. It's a great physical wall, can Will-O-Wisp, Explode, and Haze. It's in the standard tier.

Ditto can be used right, but you got to know your opponent's Pokemon to make the best use of it.

Weezing, hehe. I forgot to say that, giggles. Yes, good wall, speedy, can do much fun.

Of course one of the best underrated ones to use is one of the best walls there is, Wobbuffet!!! Wobbu! Wobbuffet can be a wonderful wall with a deadly strikeback, just like Ditto, got to know your opponent's Pokemon to use him properly.

Wobbuffet is considered an 00ber pokemon. Not underated at all. Wobbuffet's ability, Shadow Tag traps the opponent. Then you use Encore, and Counter/MirrorCoat away. Its high HP allows it to succesfully to pull that off.

Weezing isn't speedy, its rather slow. Also wobby is Uber-awesome its not allowed in the metagame for its great power.

I'd have to say that I think that Fearow is too underrated. Most people I know completely hate Fearows, and never use them in any competitive battling. I quite like Fearows.

Just think of its butt-kicking move Drill Peck! I just love that move...

I was using Pidgys for a good long time (Up to Pidgots) since I've started Pokemon, about back in 1997. But then I found out that Fearows are a bit faster, I think. They get better attacks to, some what. Drill Peck is pwnage in my oppion.

Golem was in one episode, I think.

So far, I think the Regis have been under rated. Unless they've been on an episode and I haven't seen it.

Um, the newest movie co-stars the Regi's with Rukario. They are also in the Pokemon Symphonic Medley opening sequence too.

Imo, the Regi's were used a lot before, but I hardly see people using them anymore.

Weezing can be speedy if trained right. Not the fastest no, but not the slowest either. Just need the right kind of egg training and Carbos to help with this. Just can get the drop on someone slower, but either way, the defense makes up for a lack of speed.

Octillery. High Physical and high special. Slow though but does have a wide range of Special and Physical attacks and decent defenses. Discuss.

I think ditto is, because i used one in FireRed for the elite 4 and he was realy good! But he has to be used properly otherwises he's useless....Still underrated though.

There are quite a few. If it doesn't evolve most people won't bother catching them. Pinsir is fairly good, and even though Golem has pre-evo's he's overlooked. There are so many though.

there isnt really one overall underated pokemon, people would just say a pokemon they have used on the game before that they liked and isnt reguarly mentioned on the forum.
personally for me that pokemon is either vaporeon or Cloyster. both done extremely well for me in use, and cloyster is one of my fave pokemon anyway :D

I think Octillery is strong if people use it right (I can't :p). I mean, it can Thunder Wave, but it can't be Thunder Waved back, and it has a very, very, very wide range of moves of a variety of types.

All that's left is if the trainer can use it right or not.

Well... actualy, Vaporeon is quite widly used in OU play, due to its high defenses and HP, but I have to agree with you about Cloyster. Its high defense stat allows it to withstand strong physical attacks, and the move Spikes, comes in very handy in OU play. And of course, Ice Beam takes care of Dragon type pokemon and Explosion is a nice goodbye present ^_^

Ah, yes... How could I forget Octillery? Happens to be one of my favourite water types. Like you mentioned, Octillery has high attacks and decent defenses, but its HP is also above average. Its large movepool and high attack stats, give it full type coverage, and, if you're willing to breed, Octillery can take care of pokemon with substitute, easily, using Rock Blast. Also, its Suction Cups trait comes handy, if you have a batton passer on your team, because it prevents all pseudo hazers (a pokemon with Roar or Whirlwind) from removing its stat change(s)

Um... and what prevents Octillery from being thunderwaved? Octillery is a pure water type, meaning, it can be thunderwaved as easily as a Milotic. Also, its trait doesn't prevent paralyze either.

There are some more neglected pokemon, I'm currently using in Netbattle and they can easily kick an OU pokemon's butt.

Walrein: Walrein comes very handy in OU play, because of its high HP stat, that allows it to make a Substitute that isn't broken by one Seismic toss from a level 100 pokemon. Its trait, Thick Fat, gives it a resistance against fire type attacks, and makes Ice type attacks practicaly useless (try hitting a Pokemon with a 6x resistance, yourself if you don't believe me). Its movepool has a decent variaty of physical and special attacks, giving it countless, possibilities. A special Walrein can easily take care of water types, with Hidden Power Grass and a STABed Ice Beam is bound to take down a Salamence, Rayquaza, or any other pokemon with a double weakness and sometimes, even a pokemon with a 2x weakness. It also makes a good physical attacker, Curse, Earthquake and Return are quite a nice combination, actualy. Of course Gengar pretty much takes care of a physical Walrein, even if it would happen to have Rock Slide (not Gengar, Walrein XP)

I need to take a break, but trust me, I'll be back reviewing more underrated pokemon soon XP

Oh snap, I have this misconception that Octillery has Limber, since it's an octopus, and octopus's are soft, flexible and squishy.
No wonder it got Thunderwaved.

Muck is really underrated, but it's really quite good.
Muk has good Sp.Def. The down side is that it's over looked compared to Wheezing, just because Wheezing levitates.

Seviper is pretty underrated but I have a lvl 50 one and it kicks backsides.

I'd say Chinchou. They're really good just because they're Water/Electric type, so Electric, a Water Type's greatest weakness, dosen't do that much damage.
