Consider price for what you get. Obviosly the easiest to draw with would be the tablet PC, but is it really worth the $1,000 and up? Is it just as good to get a Tablet? This is your opinion though, personally I hate tablets. I can draw just as good with a mouse. I can't see where I drew either, and it is very hard to draw while looking at the screen. Tablet PC is really worth it, it is just like drawing on paper, but no eraser marks and the lines are computerized or pixels. It is great for web art. In fact, I'm saving to get one.

I don't draw with mine anymore, but when I did I used a mouse. So, there are speical things to draw with, is that how computer drawing look so good? I always wondered.

Would?this be a poll about art, or about computers? Hmm. o_o; Guess I?ll move it to art.

Um, you forget about they pen where you draw ON the screen.

    I would prefer a tablet.

Yah, that is a Tablet PC. A laptop where you have a pen you can use as the mouse and it is also pressure sensative. Yep, you draw on the screen, and really, really, really helps because they are soooooo much easier to use than a mouse or tablet!!! I can barely draw with a mouse, lol :P

You can also draw on a Pocket PC, or a handheld, but the screen is alot smaller. Why noone mentioned Handheld Devices. :-/

Well I been drawing with a mouse for a long time now, im not that bad with it
and I hand draw. I don't have a Tablet or Tablet PC, I may get one some time tho

A tablet just takes time to get used to. If you've got decent hand-eye co-ordination skills, it becomes simple to use. It took me roughly an hour to get used to mine, and now I can't imagine drawing with a mouse. o_O;; I don't see why one would want to spend 10x the amount of money to buy one of those. =\ If you want to draw on the computer, get a tablet. If you want to draw on paper, get a scanner. =o

    *glomps her tablet~*

When I do draw it's with my laser mouse (surpsingly helpful, lol), but that's because my dad won't get me a tablet >.<

LOL, I mostly draw on paper, but on the computer? Definitely my tablet. I tried using a mouse but it just didn't work, even in a vector-based program where I could tweak. So when a shop had the tablet on sale, I jumped at the chance. I nagged my parents for days and they let me get it (well, they got it for me as an early birthday present). It cost just over AU$200 (Wacom Graphire 3 6x8) and it was well worth it if you ask me. I don't know what I did without it, plus it can be used for handwriting recognition (I type faster than I write but my mum doesn't). A lot cheaper than getting an actual tablet PC - we have a really old desktop and my parents won't even let me get a new one, so no chance of getting one anyway XD.

I just don't see how anyone can draw with a mouse - of course, I only have a ball mouse. But it's so *hard* o_O
