    Alright, just about to go to the Pokemon League. I have all 6 pokemon I want to use picked out already...but the movesets are, to say the least, crap. All help is wanted.
    But please, don't suggest any egg moves. All the pokes are around level 45 and I don't want to waste time getting an egg, hatching it, and then leveling them up again...

    Special Sweepers
    Gengar:
    Shadow Ball
    Thunderbolt
    Hypnosis
    Dream Eater

    Alakazam:
    Psychic
    Calm Mind
    Shadow Ball
    Recover (I'm thinking of sub instead, which would be better?)

    Physical Sweepers:
    Garchomp:
    Earthquake
    Dragon Claw
    Crunch
    no idea

    Gyarados:
    Waterfall
    Dragon Dance
    Bite
    Ice Fang (this and bite need to go, I think...could be wrong, though).

    Sub Seeder:
    Torterra
    Substitute
    Leech Seed
    Earthquake
    Razor Leaf (giga drain? or would that be a waste?)

    Dual Sweeper:
    Lucario:
    Dragon Pulse
    Aura Sphere
    Extremespeed
    Swords Dance

    Any help would be great, thanks!

    Alright, well...this seemed to get overlooked. I also updated my first post to be a little more relevent and reflecting more or less what I am PLANNING as their final movesets vs what they actually have now.

    Gengar w/Leftovers ~ Black Sludge
    'Levitate' : Immune to (Ground) attacks.
    <Timid : +Spd / -Att>
    * Shadow Ball
    * Thunderbolt
    * Hypnosis
    * Will-O-Wisp / * Destiny Bond

    <You won't want to use *Dream Eater. It's a bad combo for anything but stupid InGame AI. If you don't like double status than *Destiny Bond can be a wicked surprise.>

    Alakazam w/Choice Specs
    'Syncronize' : Passes on status effects to opponent.
    <Timid : +Spd / -Att>
    * Psychic
    * Shadow Ball
    * Focus Blast
    * Energy Ball / * Trick

    <*Trick is for Competitive but InGame i'd keep AOA.>

    Garchomp w/Leftovers
    'Sand Veil' : Raises evasion in *Sandstorm.
    <Jolly : +Spd / -Sat>
    * Dragon Claw
    * Earthquake
    * Fire Blast
    * Sword Dance

    <You'll want the (Fire) to deal with Skarmory / Steelix.>

    Gyarados w/Leftovers
    'Intimidate' : Lowers opponent's Att 1 stage.
    <Adament : +Att / -Sat>
    * Dragon Dance
    * Earthquake
    * Ice Fang
    * Waterfall / * Taunt

    <You'll need *Taunt for Competitive but the 3 attacks will be better InGame.>

    I don't like Torterra / Lucario in the role you are trying to use them in. There are other pokes who would fulfill the roles you are trying to use them in better.

    Now, I say this much-I'm still new at competitive battling, and shouldn't be giving much advice but I know for a fact that torterra's special sucks. Don't waste time teaching torterra special moves (razor leaf, giga drain). Might I suggest Wood Hammer? But be careful for the recoil damage.

    Razor leaf's a regular attack move, as far as I know.

    Lotus- what pokemon would you suggest, then?

    Wow, you're right. Hm, could of sworn it was special-makes more sense. Still, Wood Hammer is far superior. If you don't mind the severe power drop, then sure go with razor leaf. But I agree with lotus, don't use Torterra as a sub-seeder, better as a physical wall. For a seeder, might I suggest Roserade? Mixed with toxic, it can be a devastating combo, at least for the Elite Four.

    Torterra & Lucario are fine just not the way you wanted to use them.

    Since this is before the Elite 4 i can't suggest a better SubSeeder but after the Elite 4 i'd look into Breloom.

    His new ability 'Poison Heal' means while he's holding the Toxic Orb he regains 1/8 HP per round. That's twice as effective as Leftovers.

    A moveset like...

    Breloom w/Toxic Orb
    'Poison Heal' : Regains 1/8 Hp per round when statused.
    <Jolly : +Spd / -Sat>
    * Focus Punch
    * Stone Edge
    * Substitute
    * Spore

    I know it's not a pure SubSeed but you get crazy replenishment via 'Poison Heal' and immunity to Status Effects since he's always poisoned. You can *Spore when you are faster / *Substitute when you are slower and *Focus Punch away. If you don't mind being walled by certain things you can carry *Leech Seed > *Stone Edge but i prefer the better coverage.

    As for your pokes I'd run standard...

    Torterra w/Leftovers
    'Overgrow' : Raises (Grass) attacks when HP is low.
    <Adament : +Att / -Sat>
    * Earthquake
    * Stone Edge
    * Wood Hammer
    * Sword Dance / * Curse / * Leech Seed

    <Support move is up to you>

    Lucario should pick a path and go that route...

    Lucario w/Leftovers
    'Steadfast' : Raises speed when flinched.
    <Jolly : +Spd / -Sat>
    * Close Combat
    * Stone Edge
    * Crunch
    * Sword Dance

    ~~~OR~~~
    Lucario w/Leftovers
    'Steadfast' : Raises speed when flinched.
    <Timid : +Spd / -Att>
    * Aura Sphere
    * Dark Pulse
    * Dragon Pulse
    * Calm Mind
    My personal favorite is *Reversal version but you should really build a team around him. I guess if i had to build a mixed version it would look like...
    Lucario w/Life Orb ~ Leftovers
    'Steadfast' : Raises speed when flinched.
    <Naive : +Spd / -Sdf>
    * Close Combat
    * Crunch
    * Psychic / * Stone Edge
    * Dragon Sphere
    But that's really stretching it. I was trying to find a 2nd special attack worth carrying because if you just carry one special attack you are better off just going straight one way or the other. Lucario's weak to (Fight) types so maybe *Psychic could work but that breaks one of the rules i always follow which is only use (Psychic) attacks on (Psychic) types since it's a bad attack type. But if you are forcing me to make him mixed that's all i can think off.
    I prefer Infernape for my Mixed Sweeping needs.
    Infernape w/Leftovers
    'Blaze' : Raises (Fire) attacks when HP is low.
    <Hasty : +Spd / -Def>
    * Close Combat
    * Flamethrower
    * Grass Knot
    * Nasty Plot
    This guy is straight up nasty. He's a MetaBreaker because he can take out so man defensive threats.
    I <3 this dude.
    My Pearl team consisted of this guy + Mismagius / Gyarados and that's the whole list. He is brutal.
    Good Luck.
    Breloom w/Toxic Orb
    'Poison Heal' : Regains 1/8 Hp per round when statused.
    <Jolly : +Spd / -Sat>
    * Focus Punch
    * Stone Edge
    * Substitute
    * Spore
    yeah you probably shouldn't switch breloom in at all if it's slower. it takes care of a lot of guys like Rhyperior, Metagross and Tyranitar, and even gives you the opportunity for free Focus Punches on a switch, but it has really low defenses and can't be helped against something that is faster than it.
    like lotus mentioned, it can take status effects as well because of Toxic Orb + Poison Heal, but you really have to be careful about when you bring it in.
    Thanks guys.
    I was holding off of Wood Hammer because I thought it was egg only...but one of my friends just told me that torterra can apparently learn it via move tutor.
    Also, if Breloom is always poisoned, wouldn't the poison damage cancel out with the 1/8 healing to bring it back down to like 1/16?
    But I mean, all in all, once I can pal park, I really doubt I'll be keeping much more than 1 or 2 of these pokes on my team. My Salamence is waiting on my Ruby cart and I'm definitely gonna try to work in at least a Tyranitar or Houndoom somewhere.
    But for the time being, I think I'll switch to infernape. I actually do have a level 30 monferno sitting in my PC, so I really have no issue with continuing to level it up. What EVs would you suggest?
    What are their Natures?
    That would help.
    Nope ~ That's the beauty of it.
    It's just like how Burn on a 'Guts' poke doesn't cut the Att stat - It only activates the x1.5 effect.
    The bonus is in place of the normal effect.
    So a Breloom w/Toxic Orb gets 1/8 HP per round and can't get another status effect because he's already poisoned.
    He loses no HP per round other than opponent attacks.
    That's pretty handy then!
    Anyways, my Torterra has a Naive nature. I'm pretty sure it's speed + and special def -.
    I didn't look at any of my other dudes' natures yet, though.
