I get this problem everywhere. everytime i sign in, i get a message saying that the windows live communications platform has stopped working

    Problem Details:
    Spoiler:

If I leave this message opened, i can still use msn.
I looked through the web and most of the soloutions don't make sense.
One soloution however worked, but when i restarted my PC, messenger was retard and wouldnt show my contacts and ppl were messaging and i coulnd see the chat window. so i uninstalled reinstalled messenger and i still get the above problem... any help super awesome computer dudes?

Have you tried contacting Microsoft? Google is not the solution to everything...

bad user, very bad user. Change to a better working anti-virus, MSN might like you enough to work if you do.

    And run a registry cleaner

Well I just switched to AVG... I had avira before and that message popped up. Now with AVG though I'm not even able to chat or anything with that message.

    New details:
    Spoiler:

how do you do that? Cause I've been trying to figure this out for about 9 hours... I am getting VERY ANNOYED

Are you using a Sony VAIO computer? Also, you may want to look into Pidgin, as it can be set up to use the same protocol as MSN.
