So with the four Luminarch Ascension I have now, my B/R Wither deck has officially become my weakest deck. That being said, I've now stumbled upon a card that can make it so much better.
-26- Creatures
-4- Soul Snuffers
-3- Noxious Hatchling
-2- Dusk Urchins
-2- Midnight Banshee
-3- Necroskitter
-2- Rendclaw Trow
-2- Devoted Druid
-2- Wickerbough Elder
-4- Deity of Scars
-2- Creakwood Liege
-14- Other Spells
-4- Flourishing Defenses
-4- Blowfly Infestation
-2- Pyrrhic Revival
-24- Lands
-4- Twilight Mire
-4- Verdant Catacombs
-9- Swamp
-7- Forest
The idea is to pretty much use Elf tokens to keep the field completely empty almost 95% of the time. Its primary focus is to put mass -1/-1 counters on creatures, and with Cauldron of Souls, it can turn the tokens into a bomb-killing army. The best part is, Flourishing Defenses triggers after Blowfly Infestation will spread counters, so if the field's open, the tokens spawn afterwards.
Suggestions?
